Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size
Height: 6' 5"
Weight: 285 lbs
Size Purchased: XXL

Great base layer! Super comfortable and warm on the mountain or anywhere else you want to feel warm, comfy, and look like a ninja! The hood fits great and it also folds down nicely on the back of your neck if you don't need it and doesn't get in the way. It will smell a little funky after a couple days of riding, but that is to be expected. The merino wool one is next on my list. Great product!

Wear (spelling pun intended) have you been all my life! Great belt that disappears on your waist when you are snowboarding but keeps your pants where they belong! Super adjustable and comfy and I am wearing it all the time now as my main casual belt. Low profile too and the buckle never pinches or gets in the way! Highly recommended!

I wanted to love these Oakley snow pants. The pant construction and materials used seem to be very high quality and they look and perform really nicely too. Unfortunately, the low rise in the crotch area of these pants made them creep-low-gangsta-style off my butt while riding and walking. I had to pull them up constantly which was an issue, and I was even wearing them with an Arcade elastic belt. Snowboard or ski pants should be designed to come up a little higher, especially in the back to keep the snow out, but these don't. Please keep in mind that the size I was wearing were XXL, so it might be a different fit for the other sizes.

The Rossi XV just rips!
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I recently bought the Rossignol XV wide board in the 174cm size. I just got back from its maiden voyage at Wolf Creek in CO where the conditions were epic. I'm a big dude at 6'5" and 285lbs and I was looking for a big, super stiff and camber freeride board that could handle all of my burly manhood and I found it! I have been riding for 30 years and have been through a bunch of boards and I can honestly say this board is my favorite. Everything people say about this board is true, it's super stiff BUT playful, rips the POW, bombs through the tight trees, carves like a knife, and charges through the crusty crud like a snowplow, and the board is very stable and damp at high speed. This board is definitely an advanced to expert rider board, and at the end of the day when your legs are shot this board will RIDE YOU so beware! Forget about doing butter tricks, pressing or riding switch on this board, that would be missing the point. This board is meant to go in one direction as fast as you can ride it.

Construction is top notch and after several days of hard riding the board and base look brand new. I wasn't too crazy about the graphics at first, but in person the artwork really pops and the board looks killer!

Thanks Backcountry for always delivering the goods and taking care of your customers!

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: Runs large

Size Purchased: 49 (size 14)

This shoe is nicely designed with great quality of materials, but the size 49 I ordered has way too much volume inside the shoe and I couldn't get the Boa tight enough. I tried thicker insoles, but still no luck. I'm not sure if the smaller sizes have this same issue, but it's something to consider especially if your foot is on the narrow side.
