This rain coat sucks. I bought it after seeing so many positive reviews, but those people must have worn garbage bags before. It is uncomfortable (for some reason the neck is like six inches high) and doesn’t breathe at all. Also, the hood in the collar looks lame.

Pretty good bag. The suspension holds weight super well. And I like how specific you can get when making adjustments to the frame. The big drawback for me was that it squeaked. With. Every. Step.

I looked into this and it seems to be a common problem with the pack. I would look elsewhere until they get this sorted out, or allow for time to return it before your trip to mountains.

This is a super comfortable pad. Maybe the most comfortable I’ve ever seen. The only decision you need to make is whether you want one this big. The size makes it hard to pack inside or on the side of the pack, which leaves the bottom, where it is more prone to get punctured. I think personally I would get the pro-lite but not the plus.

This is a super nice bag. It is light. It is comfortable. And it packs small for its size. The question is whether it is worth the price, and I would say it’s not. Marmot, REI, and others are making sleeping bags that are 90% as good for half the price. But if you want to treat yourself, buy Western Mountaineering.

That said, I wouldn’t buy this particular bag as my go-to three-season bag. In an effort to be comfortable they made it super wide, which leaves big pockets of air that let in cold drafts. Also, unlike other models, they didn’t include a draft collar for some reason.

Fit: True to size

Sock Guy makes an excellent product. These socks are comfortable, durable, and do a great job of wicking moisture. My feet stay dry, and these socks prevent me from having extreme foot stank after a heavy workout. These are the only socks I wear anymore.
