Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: Runs small
This coat isn't 'too' bad as far as fit and warmth is concerned, though I have had warmer coats. It seems fairly wind proof. I haven't had the chance yet, to test it in wet conditions. So far I haven't had any trouble with the zipper, and it seems fairly well made. I like the lay flat hood. It doesn't get in the way of the head rest, by pushing my head forward while driving like another coat I had. The down side is, that I found the sleeves to be tight when wearing a medium weight sweater under it. I would have to make sure I smoothed any bumps or wrinkles out of the inside crook of my elbow, or it would be uncomfortable. My assessment is, that with a light weight short sleeve shirt on under it, it's good to around 25 degrees F. With a medium weight sweater, it's good down to around 15 degrees. I'm just not sure that I'd want to go much lower than that without another layer, and then I'd have a problem with sleeve tightness. Considering that with my arms out stretched in front of me, I can pull the coat tight at the back of the shoulders, and the tightness of the sleeves, I subtracted one star from my rating. Since this is supposed to be a man's coat, and I happen to be a woman, (women's coats are almost always too tight in the shoulders), and that I'm really not all that big, I would have thought the sleeves and shoulders would have fit better. If it weren't for the fact that I liked everything else about the coat, I probably would have sent it back.
