When not working with words, I can be found snowboarding, biking (mountain and road, I don't discriminate), and hiking. Indoors, I'm into good food & wine, and keeping the peace between dogs and cats.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Plusses for these earbuds are that the sound is pretty good, the range is decent (you can wander away from your phone and not lose sound immediately) and connecting is a snap. On the downside, these don't seem to have a functional mic as advertised -- at least I've never been able to figure out how to get it to work. Maybe I should have read the directions before throwing them out lol

Love these shorts! They feel fairly substantial but are also super stretchy -- I've even worn them over bike shorts to go mountain biking. The back pocket holds a phone well enough, but the front ones are fairly shallow so they are not terribly useful.

I've worn these traveling, hiking, to work, and just around the house ... and they're always comfortable, always presentable. They do have a somewhat relaxed fit, but I find the sizing pretty true to my other Prana pants, mainly the Kara jeans. Like that the thigh pocket is just big enough to fit my iphone 7!

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I got this for my husband, who travels every week and needs a tough, functional bag. When this first arrived I wasn't sure he would like it, it seemed kid of fiddly with all the zippers and such. However, he likes it! Plusses are: the solid plastic back, wheels, organization (the top part is actually divided into two compartments, with a little room besides), and the overall look -- you don't see too many Thule bags on the baggage claim carousel, so the logo and the nice blue color stand out from the crowd. The only minus as far as he's concerned is the 4 compression straps -- you can't ignore them, and you have to open each one to access the bag (fiddly). Also, he doesn't think he'd ever zip off the top to just use the bottom as a carry-on -- space is pretty limited that way (to the point of barely being worth it), and you can still carry it on if you don't pack the top too full and then just cinch it down.

Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Fit: Runs small

I got this as a present for my son who wears a Large pretty much across the board, but am returning because it fit quite snugly, especially across the shoulders and chest. If you want room for a light layer or lots of mobility, recommend sizing up. That being said, I'm definitely ordering an XL replacement, because in every other respect he LOVED the jacket -- the feel, the light weight, and the venting (he'd been looking for something for his bike commute).

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I got this bag for someone who is a real road warrior, traveling every week. This bag looked like it would be very protective, but I'm returning it because it just doesn't feel like it would stand up to day in, day out use (kind of spindly handle), and it's also a bit smaller than expected (outside measurements the same as the bag it's replacing, but it just doesn't seem to hold as much). On the plus side, it's very good looking with great organization on the inside and a bonus feature, a locking zipper (not mentioned in description). If you just need something for 3-4 trips a year, this would be great.

This is a great sweater for a chilly office -- lots of soft material to wrap up in! I like that the collar can be pulled up high for extra warmth. For some reason I was kind of expecting woven fabric but this is knit instead -- no biggie. Looks great with jeans and boots. Could have probably sized down, but that's just a function of the design, which is pretty roomy.

I may reorder this in a larger size, still considering that option since this is a pretty nice jacket. Obviously solid for the mountain, but with plenty of style for everyday wear. Really liked the pocket design (super important!), the longer length, and the inner thumbhole cuffs. I returned it, though, because it fit WAY small. If you have narrow shoulders and are pretty slim, you could stick with the same size you usually order, but if you're not or want room for layers, definitely go up a size.

I got this for my new back deck and couldn't be happier. Super comfortable, very solid and obviously well built. I tried out some other (much cheaper) chairs but this one just seemed so much better made. My only complaint is that it's a touch small for my husband, who is 6'1" and the XL doesn't come in the beautiful aqua color that I got this one in!

I loved my first two pairs of Hokas, but was incredibly disappointed by my third paid of Mafates because they'd been narrowed down (I assume to look more like 'normal' shoes!). These are a great compromise between the two approaches -- nice and wide in the forefoot, with a narrower, more shaped heel. Perfect! Finally, I can enjoy the cushy Hoka ride again!

I'm about to order another pair in another color, so I can wear these every day! By far the most comfortable shoes I own. Like other reviewers I have high arches and have struggled lately with plantar fasciaitis so there aren't many of my shoes I can wear right now pain-free. This is definitely one of them -- LOVE the floating arch that feels like absolutely nothing else out there. Great for travel, good for running (the little I can do now) and great for the gym (except maybe anything requiring a lot of side-to-side motion, there's some slip there).

It's hard to objectively compare these shoes to anything since my old biking shoes were so crappy, but overall these are great. Love the Boa fine-tuning, makes it easy to get just the right fit. They come with two insoles and a bunch of little pads for fine-tuning your fit, but rather than fiddling around with that I just stuck my tried-and-true arch support insoles in there and they fit perfectly. Actually, they're not quite full length, which I like because it gives my toes just a touch more wiggle room. My foot type is narrow heel, high arch, and wider forefoot, and my usual size is an 8.5-9, and the 41.5 was just right.

Getting to the point where I could even use this watch was painful due to its horrible supporting website and app (which you HAVE to register with before you can use the thing). *deleted snarky commend about website*. Multiple emails and calls to customer support finally resolved it. And THEN, it doesn't even work properly when swimming (which is why I got it, for the swim functionality). It registered less than half the yardage of the people I was swimming with, all of whom were using Garmins. To be fair, this is a common problem with trackers -- I had been borrowing my husband's old Garmin, which makes no claim to be useful for swimming, and had to stick it in my cap to keep it at the surface of the water and in contact with the satellite. But this one has a swim function, so you'd presume it could handle being 30 inches underwater. Now that I've checked the user forums, it looks like I'm not alone -- basically, this thing simply doesn't work for tracking swimming. If you're not interested in that, you may be fine with this watch. Me, I wish I'd spent the money on a Garmin.
