5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 152 lbs
Size Purchased: 46 eu

The Kaptiva strikes the perfect balance between weight, comfort, and protection. The sock like liner allows the shoes to slip on with ease and feel secure even when not laced tight. The rubber is very sticky, so you still get decent traction even on wet stone. The tread wears slightly quicker than the bushido, but that is the trade off for better grip. The shell of the shoe is very tough and holds up well to scrapes and abrasions. The laces are also the best I have ever used. I'm not sure what they did, but these laces have an incredible amount of friction. The shoes have never come un-laced on me, even with just a single knot. As for sizing, I purchased the exact same size as I wear in the bushido and the fit is perfect.
I use these shoes for everything right now. I wear them around town, on road and trail runs, and they have even become my go to approach shoe for bouldering. No matter what I'm doing, I know I can trust the Kaptiva to perform.
If you order these, I promise you won't be disappointed. I just ordered my second pair!

Lightweight, comfortable, stretchy pants

I primarily boulder, and was looking for a new pair of synthetic pants for climbing. After reading reviews and talking to my fellow climbers, I pulled the trigger on these pants.
I am a tough fit for most pants (I wear size 28 x 34 jeans)
I ordered a size 28 and I would say that the waist fits true to size, the length is probably somewhere around 32 inches. I generally cuff the ankles of my pants while climbing, so the lack of length here doesn't matter to me. The adjustable ankle is nice and seems to be a well thought, yet simple system. I generally require more room in the seat a thigh area, and these pants fit comfortably in both areas.
The pants are very light and stretchy; they don't prohibit my mobility at all.
The pockets lay flat when nothing is in them, and they have ample space for an IPhone 8+ and my wallet in the front. The additional thigh zipper pocket is nice and looks quite snazzy.
The only thing these pants are missing would be a small loop for a brush.
All in all, I am very satisfied with my purchase.

UPDATED:
I've had the pants for a few weeks now and had the time to really put them through their paces. The drawstring ankle system is easy to operate and doesn't come loose while climbing. Though the material is light, I have found it very durable. I don't even worry about sliding across a rock or placing a knee bar, even though the area I climb is generally regarded as quite sharp. These have become my favorite pants for nearly everything. I love that I can wear them to class without sticking out and then walk to the gym and hit a workout or climbing session without having to change.

If you're thinking about picking up a pair, stop thinking and pull the trigger!
