Great in concept but quality issues

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: Runs small
Height: 5' 5"
Weight: 130 lbs
Size Purchased: Medium

As others have noted, these tights run very small! I reliably wear a small in North Face leggings and ended up with a medium in these. I was initially pretty pleased with these for snowy, windy, cold hikes. They run a little on the short side which is somewhat odd for winter tights but not a big issue if paired with some taller Smartwool socks. Otherwise, the lining is soft and warm, and I really like the reinforced, water resistant fabric on the butt and knees. However -- I can't really recommend these leggings due to quality. After only a handful of hikes and washes, the fabric is pilling severely, not sure why! These don't seem like they will actually hold up.

I bought this mainly to upgrade my base layer for skiing and hiking, but I've been wearing it everywhere -- to run errands, throw it on over my tank to / from the gym, etc. It really does a good job regulating your body temperature rather than just warming you up. That makes it especially great for hiking as I feel like I don't have to take layers on / off as often. I am really sensitive to itchy materials and this one doesn't bother me at all. It does stretch out a little bit as you wear it but not so much that I wish I had sized down. I think the fit is pretty flattering for a piece of clothing that's mainly supposed to be functional!

I own several pairs of these leggings now. I bought the first pair a year or two ago and while they have held up well, I think this newer version is even better quality. The material is nice and thick but still breathable. The waistband stays put. I have hiked / backpacked, climbed, run, lifted, and done hot yoga in these leggings and they are great for all of the above. My only negative feedback is that the grey heather isn't my favorite (all my other pairs are black). I kept them because they fit well, but they are printed on a light grey (almost white) fabric so they appear to be a little see-through in the booty sometimes. The fabric is thick enough, I don't think they actually are -- just look it.

These are the best leggings and I can't believe no one has written a review yet! The seams make for a really flattering fit. The fabric is thick and WARM. I've dressed them up with a nice sweater and cute booties for dinner, but they are equally great for hiking and camping.

Mixed feelings

I got a great price on this sweater on Backcountry -- I definitely would've returned the sweater if it were the original price. It's a cute sweater but I'm not sure how well it will hold up long term. I've worn it a few times now (haven't attempted to wash it yet). It definitely stretches out as you wear it and loses its shape, especially in the arms. I personally wouldn't use this sweater as a layer for anything remotely active outdoors as it snags really easily. I ordered a size S, and I would say the fit is loose, but it is also kind of short, so I wouldn't want a smaller size. Note: in the photo, I'm wearing a cream tank underneath. In short, kind of an impractical purchase (for me) but cute and something a bit different from other layers / sweaters.

I love these Prana Foundation tops! I have a couple of the tanks, a couple of the short sleeve tees, and I just ordered a second long sleeve tee! They are very soft and hang well. I generally hang dry these tops but I have accidentally dried a couple of them and they've been just fine. I wear a size small. I am usually either an XS or S in Prana but prefer these in S. The fabric might not be flattering if it fit too tight, I think it looks best a little loose.

I'm a relatively new climber. I don't climb indoors, just outdoors. When I initially bought climbing shoes, the guy at a local store talked me out of the Mythos and into some more technical shoes that fit painfully tight. I climbed in them a number of times and was super unhappy and in pain every time, and it definitely affected my climbing. I know climbing shoes aren't supposed to be comfortable but I was about ready to give up. I knew I'd be climbing the First Flatiron in Boulder this last weekend, so I ordered the Mythos last week. The First Flatiron is about 1000 ft of relatively easy climbing, 5.4-5.6 difficulty. I was a little nervous about wearing new shoes for an all day climb, but they were fantastic! Great grip, very comfortable. I felt a lot more comfortable on slab than I did in my other shoes. I ordered a 37.5 and I think they will be great as the laces make them adjustable through the entire length of the shoe and heel. I am generally a 6.5 in normal shoes, 7-7.5 in athletic shoes. I do think these run larger compared to other brands as my other climbing shoes (Scarpa) are 38s and those make me want to cry.

Versatile tank

I've worn this tank backpacking / hiking a few times now. It's a good staple - well made, relaxed (but not baggy) fit, great for layering. The fabric is interesting -- feels and looks more like cotton than I expected. It seems to wick moisture well, although this wouldn't be my number one choice for a super warm hike or a hot yoga session. Fits true to size.

First off -- I'm surprised that anyone actually routinely uses this pack for hiking. It would get the job done but it lacks a lot of features I look for in a pack for hiking. The back of the pack is padded, but definitely not designed to allow ventilation like a hiking pack. There is only one easy access pocket on the exterior of the pack, and no water bottle pockets. The waist strap is a nice feature but isn't padded in any way. I would also want a chest strap if I was going to really load this pack down and then hike with it.

That said, I didn't buy it for hiking -- I have a couple of hiking day packs already. I wanted a backpack to fly with, to carry to work with my computer, and to throw clothes and gear into for day trips to the mountains. It works for all of those things extremely well, looks nice, and seems to hold up. You can fit a lot in it, but you can also cinch the top part down if you don't have much in there.

I own two of these tanks, and two of the short-sleeve foundation tops! The material is fantastic! Super soft, light, and hangs really nicely. My only complaint with these tanks is that the arm holes are pretty large, enough that I wear a sports bra underneath. They are great for casual wear or even light hiking. I wouldn't say this is a technical fabric but I'd definitely chose it over cotton and most of my other casual tops for anything active or just being out and about in the heat! The pocket is a cute detail. I generally wash these on cold / gentle and hang dry, although I've accidentally dried one before and it didn't seem to shrink.

Cute shirt

This is a really pretty shirt. It's comfortable, well-made, and a little fancier than normal casual. The lace detail is really unique and you can easily wear a nude bra underneath without the straps showing which a big bonus! I would say this shirt runs slightly small compared to other Prana tops. I generally wear an XS or S in Prana, and usually a S will be pretty relaxed on me. The small in this shirt fits well, but if I was any more broad across the shoulders, or thicker in the upper arms, I would've gone up a size. The grapevine is a really pretty color!

Love these shorts. They're my go-to for hiking/ backpacking, fishing, and casual wear! The material dries fast and is extremely comfortable, not restrictive at all. The length is probably my favorite part of these shorts -- just long enough to feel comfortable being active in them, but not frumpy. The back zipped pocket is a bonus as the front pockets aren't too secure. There is also a drawstring which I find super helpful since Patagonia shorts tend to fit me just a little large in the waist. I would say these are true to size!

Really comfortable, not at all itchy like some sweaters can be. Seems to be well made. I seem to consistently be an XS in this brand but I would say as compared to other brands, this one runs a little large. The sweater is long enough (at least on me) that it works great with jeans or leggings! The detail on the back is really cute too.

This is a really nice staple to have around for the fall / winter. I sized down and would recommend doing so -- 5'5" / 125 lbs / 32 B and I got an XS. It's not too long, but does fit large otherwise. Really good quality, nice material.

This top is made very well, fabric is nice quality -- super cozy all around. The buttons add a little detail too. I sized down and I'm really glad I did. I'm 5' 5", 125, 32B, and the XS still is pretty roomy. It hits at the top of my thigh (almost like a tunic) and is overall a little big and a tiny bit boxy. Still a keeper just because I was really impressed with the quality and felt like it would be a really practical shirt to have around.

I recommend you buy this dress based on the size you need in the chest. It is very flow-y, so you'll probably want to buy the smallest size you can fit in up top! Its a great casual dress and so comfortable for hot summer days. The back is cut out below the racerback, and ties to be adjustable. Since it's kind of open in the back, it doesn't work well with a bra. There is a built in shelf bra, which works for me (30 B) but might not work for some ladies. I got the blue print, which is really unique and I love it!

I purchased a couple of these recently and have already worn them a lot! I would probably wear one of these shirts every day of the week if I could! The material is thick and very soft. For a flannel, I think the fit is very flattering! They also wash very well. I was concerned they might shrink but so far that is not the case at all (washing on cold, drying on low heat).

I ordered this jacket in the grey and love it! It is a nice weight for fall, warmer winter days, and spring. I live in Denver. I would say it is ideal for temps around 30-45 degrees (without substantial layers). I'm sure if you layered more, it would work for colder temps. I am 5'5", around 115 pounds, and I ended up with an XS. I initially tried a S which was definitely too large. I can still layer under the XS. It hits at the very top of my thigh / bottom of hip. Generally, fits how you would expect from Patagonia but a little larger -- I generally wear a S. It has a very nice tailored look (doesn't add bulk like some jackets do) and works for anything from casual wear to wearing into the office. My only two minor complaints are that the zipper is a little uncooperative (but seems to be loosening up some with time) and that the fabric seems to attract a lot of pet hair. Would definitely buy again, especially at this sale price!

I love this top -- I usually wear a small or medium in tops and I was glad I purchased the smaller size. I like the print and the fabric is light so it makes a nice summer top. My puppy put a hole in it (the fabric is pretty delicate), but I like it so much I will consider buying another.

I have one of these in my 4Runner and love it. I have a four month old pup that's essentially a Golden / St. Bernard / Great Pyrenees / Newfoundland mix. So, he will be huge and loves mud, dirt, creeks, etc. and we hike about 4-5 times a week. This stays in place well (fits the seat of the 4Runner perfect!), seems to be good quality material, and I like the option to have it as a hammock for longer trips. It is no problem to use the seat belts either since there are slits. I also like the part that covers the side of the seat since my puppy would otherwise get that part filthy getting in the car! Would buy again but I expect this to last!
