Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size
Size Purchased: 11

I bought these shoes for my husband and he really likes them. Here's what he says, "they have plenty of cushioning to make them comfortable but not too much. You still have a good feel of the road and a good amount of responsiveness. For a stability shoe, they are really light weight and do the job when it comes to the needed support. The rounded sole results in a natural toe off and makes it fun to pick up the pace! I'm just coming back from an IT band injury and have been blown away with how many miles I'm able to log in these without pain."

I bought this for my husband but I use it just as often :) He likes taking it when he goes running because it's easy to hold, we've taken it on picnics and just carry it around the house when we want to listen to some tunes. The voice threw us off at first but now we love to hear him.. "pairing!" "connnected."

I just took these with me to Italy and they were perfect! My husband and I shared the shampoo and conditioner in the two bigger bottles and it lasted over 2 weeks. I bought this travel case http://www.backcountry.com/dakine-alina-3l-travel-case and these bottles fit perfectly in the main compartment so I was really happy. Very happy with this purchase!

I just went to Europe with a group of 6 and this one of the best purchases I made for the trip. We often shared one bathroom so it was so nice to have all my toiletries in on compact place and I was able to hang it to keep it out of the way of everyone else's stuff. It actually was big enough to hold everything for both my husband and I. It was the perfect size, I wouldn't have wanted anything bigger. I also bought these http://www.backcountry.com/eagle-creek-pack-it-silicone-bottle-set#wall-solicitations and they fit perfectly in the main compartment of the bag. Very happy about this purchase!

I have been sleeping wonderfully in this bag. I have used it several times but admittedly, only once at or around freezing and it was still pretty cold (though that could be due to other factors as well such as too large of a tent and not having a pad) Most of my experience with this bag has been around 40-50 degrees and it has been awesome. I love the fact that you can zip it open from the bottom, roll it up and fasten it so that you can walk around camp in the early morning hours without leaving your warm cocoon!:)

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I got this bottle to take on medium road and trail runs and it works great! With the strap, it fits comfortably and securely. The bottle doesn't leak and is easy to access since there is no cap to remove, pop open etc. I have loved it so far and will probably get another as my mileage increases.

I bought these shoes to mix things up a bit and run in some shoes that are slightly different than my go to pair. They are great shoes and do the job. I don't know that I would buy them again just because I didn't love them, but there's nothing specifically wrong with them that would make me discourage anyone from getting these either. Running shoes are all about fit and comfort and while these are adequate, they just aren't a 5 star shoe for me.

It took my feet a while to get used to them and I had a little soreness in my achilles and calves, but I think that's normal when you switch shoes. I use these shoes for anything from tempo runs and intervals to medium-long runs. I think I wore these for runs up to 15 miles and they did great.

They are fairly light weight and well padded on the back by the achilles and on the tongue which made them feel pretty nice!

I can't run in anything else now. I've run in these for a few months, put tons of miles on them, completed my fastest marathon yet and I love them. The only reason I don't wear them for every run is to give my feet and legs some variety and to save them so that they'll last longer!

These shoes are super comfortable and not too heavy. They have just the right amount of support in the arch without being noticeably high. They provide the stability I need to keep me going for mile and miles. They have held up really well. The upper shows almost no signs of wear after hundreds of miles of use and the tread has lasted a long time considering how much road they've seen.

Combine all this with the fact that the colors and overall style of these (like all Nike running shoes) are miles ahead of the competition and you have your new favorite running shoe.

This backpack LOOKS great... unfortunately the design of the continuous strap is terrible. It's not worth it in my opinion. Every time you put it on the backpack falls down to the back of your legs and the other strap collapses making you look foolish as you try to get that other arm in! The same is valid when you take it off... It's super embarrassing to sneak into class late, slip one arm out and have the backpack slam on the desk behind you... Don't ask me how I know. ;) The only explanation is that nobody at Nixon or BC ever tried this on because it is impossible to look past this flaw.
