Can't take this off

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 8"
Weight: 150 lbs
Size Purchased: Large

I was given the Icebreaker 150 Zone Long-Sleeve Crew Shirt and Pants from Backcountry to test out, the following review is my honest opinion.
I love this base layer. IceBreaker added some great features to the classic 150 weight top making it perfect for high out put activities and those start/stop outings like alpine climbing, mountaineering, and ski touring. The strategic mesh zones on the back and under arm let excess heat escape while moving. This keeps you nice and dry for long cold belays or digging pits. The thumb loops are great for keeping the elements out when worn under gloves . With a lycra/wool blend this piece is mobile, comfortable, and isn't itchy at all.
Size:
I went with a large though a medium would be better as a next to skin, athletic fit for me, I prefer a looser fit in my base layers and the large is perfect. It is long enough to stay tucked into ski pants as well as look good as a stand alone top. I enjoy having more freedom of motion in the large as well. My arms a lightly long so the large allows for comfortable use of the thumb holes.

These pants are great. I've had multiple pairs and still wear the first pair I picked up two years ago. They are really durable, i've dragged them through sandstone chimneys, along granite slabs, bush whacking, dumped wine and coffee on them and they still are going strong. Super comfortable, stretchy, and breathable. Can't go wrong with these. I love the built in belt, keep those pants tight with out bugging you in a harness. BUY THEM!

This layer is wonderful for all kinds of weather. I have worn it on technical climbs in Alaska and the tetons, as well as backpacking in the summer heat to hide from the sun. It literally works everywhere as a strong versatile base. Super comfortable and fits really well. wicks all moisture and keeps you dry and stink free for days.

This pack is great for so many things, I can carry all you need on long technical rock and ice routes, ski tour days, and it looks good enough to carry around town. Never worry again about you stuff getting wet, the OutDry construction will keep the contents dry as can be. Careful with the brain though as the zipper can leak in very we conditions. I've rocked this pack from peaks in Alaska to the university library and it does it all in style.

These are my go to bars. Always reliable, packable, and flavorful. Classic for a reason. I recommend picking up all the flavors because they are all good. Stock you pack with a hand full of these bars and be ready to fight the hangry, at work or in the mountains.
