These bindings are awesome, the fact you can switch between a leash and brakes are great. I have found one drawback with the brakes however, snow/ice begins to pack down in between the turret and the brake attachment. This makes it so you have to knock the ice off prior to twisting the turret. However, it is really easy to use a pole to knock it off.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

4th day out and I cracked the tongue, still usable but Scarpa said it would take a while to get fixed. Get something more durable. Ski incredible though. I just got mine back it took over a month to get back and when I asked scarpa they claimed they didn't receive them until January 15th but my records show that they received them on the 4th. Overall, I have been incredibly disappointed with Scarpa's service, I have also heard rumors that it has been taking them longer to ship everything and their wear house has been behind.

These get the job done but the draws are so fat that I am failing to clip and they overall handle a lot worse than spirits. They do work well and will always hold, save yourself money over the long run and get draws you love! aka the spirits.

First let's start with the pros. These draws are super light and feel great to clip. At first they were my favorite draws now that I have climbed with the a lot I have noticed a drawback. The wire that keeps it from getting snagged also increases the profile of the nose. This means that they will barely fit through Leeper hangers, and won't fit through a lot of pitons. This is now making me not like these and instead I am going to start getting the Petzl Ange draws.

Fit: True to size

I bought a set of tx3s nearly 3 years ago and I went through two pairs of those in 2 years and wanted something more durable. I found the TX4 and have loved them every since, they have lasted me a long time and are taking the beating well. I am going on over a year with my pair of Tx4s and they are awesome. My one complaint is the weight, I still have a set of Tx3s I use for hauling up multipitch climbs but I use these for everyday use.

I love this bag whether it is just for going to the crag or hauling up a multi pitch. I use this bag to do so many things, it is the main bag I use for bolting as it is still lighter than a haul bag but if you need to haul it, it does great and doesn't get ripped to shreds. I have hauled this up many climbs and the bag still looks new. I can fit all of the stuff I need to rebolt a route in this bag minus a rope which goes on top. My one complaint is the back is very flat and your back often sweats excessively.

The La Sportiva TX3's are the best shoes I have ever worn. They have some of the best grip ever, are super comfy, are perfect for everything. I use my TX3's for everything whether that is hiking up a mountain, or walking around town, they are just the perfect shoe for everything. I always have knee pain and I do not get that with these! On my second pair!
