I'm super picky about my bathing suit bottoms. I want enough coverage to feel comfortable wrestling my 2 year old in the sand without flashing the whole beach, but don't want to look like I'm wearing a pair of granny panties. This is the perfect balance between looking amazing and feeling amazing. The bottoms stay perfectly in place in big waves and currents (and tickle fights). And I actually love the way I look in them (and I'm crazy picky). You'll feel free to pedal your bike, get out of the water after cliff jumping, surf with confidence, and eat a hotdog on the beach (man, how is everybody wearing those Brazilian bikini bottoms these days and still feeling like they can move or eat?). Excited to wear these skiing next spring- they are THAT confidence inspiring.

This is my favorite looking bathing suit top. I will say, I've gotten smashed down in the sand by a few waves and have had to readjust the girls before coming back up. This suit is great for all the beach activities (volleyball, jogging, reaching for the can of Pringles), but needs a little supervision when playing in strong waves. Maybe I just needed a size smaller (am a 32b and got a small).

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I love this suit. As an athletic girl, I'm more likely to be in the rough waves than to be tanning on the beach. This top has held up to some extreme wipeouts in the water. YES. Has held up well after being worn 10-15 times in the ocean and chlorinated pools. Love it!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

First off, we REALLY needed to get a pair of shades that my kid would wear. We've tried them all- and he hates them. Mots sunglasses feel pretty stiff, so I don't blame him. We were so happy he'd wear this pair! However, in the car, he frequently pops out the lenses while playing with them. A great pair of wearable sunglasses, but I wouldn't leave them with your kid unattended.
