Took this bag to Kansas this January and spent a couple of nights hiking the Elk River Trail. Temperatures were in the 20’s one night and low teens (almost single digits) the next. I would consider myself a “cold” sleeper and I stayed plenty warm in the bag with just light weight base layers on. Did not have any problem with the zippers snagging and the draft collar kept the cold air out. The bag has great loft. To quote one of my trail companions “that is one puffy bag”. There are lighter bags out there but those bags will also lighten your wallets much more. For the price point I could not have been happier

I absolutely love these things. I own 6 pairs and would buy more. They have to be the most comfortable pair of pants I own. I probably wear these pants 90 percent of the days of the year. I wear them day hiking, backpacking, kid’s sporting events, working around the house, around town and casual date nights. They shed early morning dew and mist wonderfully. They move with me and I don’t feel them “fighting” me at all whether I am hanging treestands or climbing over boulders with my pack on. They wash great. The fit is true and I love the built in belt. Easy quick adjustment and it stays put. The belt on my oldest pair (3 years old) is just starting to slip with strenuous activity. I love these pants.

Comfy and easy set up.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

Bought this on sale and love it! Use this car camping and when the house is full of extra teenagers crashing the night. Very easy to set up . Have used it with and without a 1 inch self inflated sleeping pad on top. Pretty quiet for a cot when the occupant is changing positions. When my teenage boys have friends over, they frequently have “contest” to decide who gets to sleep on the cot. It is heavy but that isn’t an issue. It’s not like I would take this thing backpacking with me. Due to its easy of set-up, sturdiness and comfort, I wouldn’t balk at paying full price of I ever need a new cot.
