Grew up on the Ice Coast. Skied a lot, more or less took off five years to travel and surf, then moved to Tahoe for long-overdue mountainous fun. Got a job here at Backcountry and made the journey to Park City.
I have a pair of the VZ Snarks in the Facemelt Swamp Juice/Astro Chrome and they are dope! I get compliments on them all the time and everyone wants to try them on. The frame is made of nylon grilamid meaning they are tough and can flex a bit, they have a base 6 wrap meaning they will cover your face and protect your eyes from the sun, and the reflective lenses are just baller! I would give them 6 stars if I could...
I have a lot of beanies and this one is definitely one of my top go-to hats. The jersey-knit cotton interior makes it very soft and comfy. The fact that it is over-sized helps make it so nice too. No pressure on your dome and it feels like you are not wearing a beanie at all. It has the perfect amount of "saggage" without being ridiculous and is great. I really dig it!
I have this hat in the Gray Herringbone. I literally get compliments on it every single time I wear it. It is an updated fit of the traditional "newsie" style hat in that it fits a little bigger and baggier (and more comfortable in my opinion)and has a little more coverage. The inside of this hat is silk lined and it is extremely comfortable. I will definitely be picking up this hat in different colorways!
How are these sized? I am tall and have long arms, but I am also thin and the circumference of my arms is small. Are all sizes the same length? Does the sizing specifically correlate to the circumference of the pad?
