Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have the Jones Nomad Pro skins for my good split board and bought these to use in early season when there is a lot rock out. My expectations were pretty low and they shouldn't have been! Great skins that hold well to the board and are able to handle steep inclines without issue. I'll be sticking with Backcountry skins going forward!

I actually switched from carbon backs to the Air Flow. I had the original Karakoram bindings that used a similar back and was very happy with them. I found the carbon backs on my Prime Straightline bindings to be too stiff. I stashed those backs and switched to these. The flex is awesome and they are still stiff enough to handle technical skinning (I use the Flex Lock system, which is awesome). Overall I'm really happy with the backs.

Pretty good

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have three Peeps beacons: Sport, Pro, and the TX600. I was super happy with my Sport and wanted to get a beacon for my pup (TX600). This required getting the pro so I could change frequency in search mode. In general, I'm happy with the beacon but it's not without it's flaws.

Good:
- The range is excellent when in search mode (true to spec)
- Search mode is fast and easy to change to
- Multiple burial tagging is a great feature
- Good battery life

Bad:
- The connection to the TX600 pup beacon is not seamless. The connection seems to be inconsistent which makes me question if it will actually work in the event of a burial. When I switch to 456.00 kHz to search for the TX600 it doesn't seem to make the connection consistently, even when I'm standing near the other beacon.

If you need to connect to the TX600 then you have to get this beacon. Otherwise I would stick with the Sport which is a better bang for the buck.

Awesome helmet

I really like the function, and look, of this helmet. It's very comfortable fits nicely with my Smith IO/X goggles. I also appreciate the style of the helmet, which is closer to a skate lid but with sufficient venting. I've also had the displeasure of testing the helmet on a few occasions this season and it did a great job.

I used their prior iteration and before last season bought these bindings. They perform excellent both on the skin track up and ripping down. I also have the strap for skinning that making edging on the inside easier. Their customer service has been outstanding when I've had a question or issue. The interface is rock solid and transition is smooth. If you struggle with the transition you likely don't have your bindings setup correctly. The quiver connectors are also great because you run the same binding on your solid and split.
