I've have used these skins multiple times in the past on setups other than my own and have always loved their gripping ability on the snow as well as the awesome glue that holds great on the skis and not too much trouble getting covered in snow. However, today was the first time I ever set up a pair, which is not the most fun project. Being a person who works on my own car, it takes a lot to get under my skin, but having all three screws on both tips freeze halfway through and then strip did the job. I ended up having to break off the screw side rather than the tips because I could not get them back out, and now I have little pointed ends sticking out. With that being said, they still do hold together fine and there is no movement on the tips. The cutting tool was a godsend on these as all you do is run it down the edges of your ski and it strips away the excess of the skins.
