I’ve used this bag on day hikes in Kentucky and Wyoming in temps ranging from the 90s down into the 40s and I really enjoy this bag. It carries weight extremely well, but the bag is cavernous. I carried my layers, water, food, water purifier, med bag, stove and cook set, my fiancé’s and my sisters layers, and still had room to spare. The only downside of this bag is the back is not very breathable, it’s comfortable but the padded mesh back could be upgraded to a design more in line with their high end military and hunting designs. Overall, if you’re looking for a day bag, or a bag to do multi day trips I would highly recommend this.

I started my search for a comfortable, durable, quick drying pant with these and this is where it ended. I hike and climb in these and they are beyond comfortable. When hiking, even when temperatures reach up near 95, these breathe well, wick sweat away, and dry quickly in the rain. I even reach for these to go out and about. You can find these on sale often, and are a great deal. For reference I’m 5’10” 180lbs and the 32 regular fits great.

I bought these shoes not too long after I had gotten into climbing. I rented shoes a handful of times and decided that I needed my own for comfort and performance. I tried multiple pairs on, but bought these based off of reviews I had found elsewhere. These are a basic shoe but perform very well. The better I get at climbing, the better these become. For sizing, I wear a 9.5 street shoe and bought these in a 9.5 and the fit is fantastic.

I’ve had this jacket on my wishlist for awhile now, and when REI put it on sale I jumped on it. I tried on a medium and it fit my torso and the length of my arms well, but was constructing in my armpits. The large is a bit baggier through my torso, but fits better on torso length and isn’t constricting through my armpits and leaves room to layer under should I feel the need. For reference I’m 5’10” 175# and athletically built. Overall I’m excited to get this jacket out on the trail during the shoulder season as an alternative to my puffy.
