This jacket felt great pulling it out of the bag. BD always makes high quality gear, so that is certainly not in question. HOWEVER, this is def designed for alpine type stuff. It's very minimalist and slim fitting. If that's your type of rain shell then go for it! Otherwise look elsewhere for a more average fitting shell

These are some of the best trail shoes around. Really wanted to like Altra for the cushion and wide toe box but the durability and heel just weren’t up to snuff. These are durable, cushioned, low drop, and snug in the heel and arch! Well done Topo! I’ll be back for more of these for sure. Very true to size!

Salomon makes some awesome footwear, but they tend to run narrow (especially in the toe box). I went up a half size in mine and they still cramped my toes. However, if you have more narrow feet, these would be amazing. Feel like tanks on your feet! The folks at Backcountry are taking good care of me even after wearing them around for a couple weeks.

These are really great slippers for lounging around the house, camp, the hotel, the grocery store (if that's your thing), or anywhere slippers are acceptable (Walmart/McDonalds)...
Follow the sizing chart, and you'll be good to go!

After all of the world raving about Altra, I tried both these and the Lone Peak 3.0s.
IMO, these are far superior (haha get it?) to the LP, but the interior volume of the shoe just cramps my big ol' feet. If I take the insole completely out, they would feel adequate, however, I don't particularly care to hike in a shoe with no insole. I think more than running small, they run a bit on the "shallow" side? If that makes any sense??
Other than that, these are super awesome. Love the removable rock plate idea. Wish more companies would get on that! :) Feel like a well built, sturdy shoe. Just not for me. I usually wear a size 10, and without the insole a 10 is perfect. With it, I'd have to go up, but a 10.5 was way too loose in the heel, and caused major slippage.

These pants fit well, dry fast, and hold up to lots of abuse. I've had my first pair for 4 years and they've been my go to for all backpacking trips, which include lots of bushwhacking, and off trail adventure.
They have a slimming fit, and seem true to size
