Awesome Helmet, Shame it Fades
4 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have seen these out for a while, but have always been a fan of Giro. However, when they came out with the Pink one this season my team and I jumped on it since it matches our kits so well. I got the helmet and loved it from first sight, unfortunately the pink began to fade immediately and after one ride in the Florida sun it had become lighter. I read from others too that it easily fades due to the environmentally conscious process, but didn't think it would occur on ride 1. I have reverted to only using it for races and on early morning or evening rides to slow the fading process...but overall like the fit and ventilation of the helmet and just bought a Garminum Blue one that will hopefully not have the same issue. The photo is from the first ride.

I got this pack to use as a climbing bag, summit bag and for general travel. It is super comfortable and carries weight extremely well through the specialized suspension system. Also, it has a ton of great features that makes organizing your gear a breeze and seems a lot bigger than I expected for a pack of its size giving me the ability to carry plenty of stuff on a overnight climbing trip.

These things are amazing for multiple days in the back country! They offer tons of support, comfort and breathability. I have bragged to a few of my friends about these too and after purchasing they agree these are the best boxer briefs on the market!

I got these for tail running on loose gravel and limestone, they are performing great so far and offer a huge amount of grip and protection from the rocks. I usually run with a thicker sock on the road (especially on longer 10+ mile runs), but the inside detailing on these shoes is great and I honestly think they fit and breath best without socks. Otherwise, I would probably go up a half size if you're on the fence. I have also used these when hiking down in South America and in the Pacific Northwest, they are great on slippery rocks and continue to hold up very well.

As many have said these are great for protecting against accidental tears in your gear or scrapes on your legs or arms from your axe when you forget its on your pack. I also like these a lot for when I am flying with my gear as protection when I toss these inside a gear bag.

I bought these to use with my Lowa Mountain Expert GTX boots and they have worked extremely well! They are easy to take on/off, are nearly indestructible, relatively lightweight and provide great traction when moving around in the mountains. Great piece of gear that you'll never have to worry about breaking.

I bought this hat for around town during winter travels and use it all the time. Its even been out in the backcountry a few times and keeps me super warm even on the windiest of nights!

I purchased these mainly for snowboarding, but have ended up using them on all of my cold weather trips when I am hanging out around camp. I use them with a BD liner glove and take them off when I need more dexterity. They keep my hands very warm, have been durable season to season and are a great buy for the price. The only downside is that they do let some moisture in and my hands have gotten a little cold towards the end of a wet day in the snow.

I am 6'1 165 lbs with average size hands and the Medium is great with a liner glove.

This is a great down sweater to layer under a shell when in the backcountry, it is super lightweight and very warm when under a shell. On its own though the wind gets through it and I am terified that I am going to tear it on something or burn it on the stove. Still a great layer if you're trying to save on grams and will be using it under a shell.

I am 6'1'' and 165 lbs and it fits great.

I have used these around the alpine of California and have been very impressed with their short break in time, comfort and durability. They have a ton of miles on them hiking snow, ice, rock, scree and still look great. They are also extremely waterproof and I've never had an issue with moisture getting to my feet. My only advice would be that they are a 3-season boot and if you're going to be in the alpine during the winter I'd get a little warmer boot.

This is a great pack that I purchased for a light and fast trip up California's Mt Whitney Mountaineering Route. I loved it for that trip and have used it for a few other trips since. Definitely has some great features without any extra bulk. Only downside I saw was that it was slightly floppy when only about 1/2 full and I couldn't minimize the excess space as much as I like. However the 35 is always an option over the 50 and I think it deserves the full 5 stars.
