Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I will start by saying I have put this boot through the wringer this winter with over a 100 powder days and 250K of vert on them and counting.
Pro: Stiffness is amazing if you like a stiff boot
Weight is great as well especially for someone who has a bigger boot than most.
The flex while in walk mode is the absolute best thing about this boot.
Con: The liners are absolute trash and they made it so that not everyone can purchase new liners from intuition. They should just sell the boot without liners and it is shame they would even put such a bad product out there.
Also the walk mode has failed several times to go into ski mode for me. I have had to almost take my boot off a couple of times on steep transitions not safe in my world.

I would say give Dynafit another 2 years before you buy this boot. Let them figure it out and then purchase.

I would recommend the binding but G3 is by far the worst company I have ever worked with. They do not communicate with the consumer at all and take for ever to fulfill request. I have sent bindings in for recall before during the Holidays and had them back in 2 weeks or less. G3 got my bindings at the beginning of October and told me on Nov. 23 they would ship and I haven't received my recalled bindings yet. I have contacted them two weeks ago and still haven't heard from anyone. If you dont care about customer service buy G3 but good luck when they break.

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size
Height: 6' 6"
Weight: 240 lbs
Size Purchased: 12

I bought these boots back in early 2018 and have done a few hikes in them and the rubber is starting to dislodge from boot at the toe. I heard this from others and it seems that mine are doing the same thing after probably 45 miles or more of hiking. The boot is really light and is a great boot for short to moderate hikes. The waterproofing is pretty good as well. I would say they don’t offer much protection in boulder fields very to trail runners. The grip is really good I have done some class 3 and other scrambling in them and they held just fine.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought this product from G3 directly and had read the reviews and I was aware of the issues they have with glue on their skins and I can tell you right now the glue is horrible. I have used one pair of BCA Magic Carpets for over 3 years and never once had my skin fail let alone on the first day. My magic carpets have easily 250 plus days with multiple laps withing a tour on them. I wanted something with better glide which I got with the Scala Lt and the weight difference was a bonus but my fears were answered on my first tour with the Scala LT. On my third lap of the day one of my skins came right of my ski no matter how much I rubbed it and I even warmed it in my jacket. So if you want your tour ruined buy these otherwise I would look else where for climbing skins.
