Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Love these cams. They arent the best for horizontals, but they are for sure the workhorse cams on the market. They are a great base for your growing rack, but should be suplimented with other types of protection and other cam types so you cover the spectrum of placements. I supplement with tricams, wire "alien-like" cams, and some totems to assist in horizontals and aiding. Metolius mastercams are better for their mass for smaller sizes than this, but nothing beats having your hand and fist cams as c4s!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Ive slept in this on the top of snowfields, in the forest, and somehow managed to wrangle it a lean-to for a sleepy afternoon after climbing.
you need to waterproof this tent yourself, which is pretty easy and can be done over a few beers, some silicone sealant, and some mineral spirits. Its not a summer tent even though youll definitely stay cool. Bugs love getting up and in and it acts like a nat trap.
I feel like this tent is a metaphor for a relationship. It can be anything you want it to be, sometimes can take extra work, maybe doesn't work out in certain situations, and your parents laugh and it and call it a circus.

I was hoping to like these more. They are a ton of great small features. They are a bit too flashly for casual, a bit too long for running shorts, and not burly enough for most climbing I like to do. Honestly great shorts but they are aimed at a niche purpose. My rating is based on my own personal use and interest but serious these shorts feel great and maybe someone else will love them!

These shorts look good around and certainly dont cause me to stayed drenched in sweet during the hot summer.
They were a bit slim around the waist and I have an athletic build. Definitely a slim fit even though the waist fits greats.

This is by far the warmest and most comfortable jacket I have ever worn. Its not just that it is warm, the inner fabric has a soft feel. I havent used this as my main winter outerlayer but have used it for belays and it stuffs well into my pack.

I have a 32" waist and a 31" inseam. I had to return 2 pairs already (32/Reg and 32/Short) according to their sizing chart these sizes would be correct. However, I am apparently a 30/Short. All of their measurements on these pants run about 2" in excess. I get the feeling this isa recent issue as older reviews seem happy.

The Waist of a 32/Reg actually measured 34.5 inches with the inseam being close to the same.

I wont share my other impressions as everybody elses are on point. these are great pants. The sizing is just shenanigans

Fit amazing. They are a little tight but they stretch well and hug nicely. Very warm, forgot they were on and have worn them a few times while out and about. I dont get hot in them either which is a major plus. I wore them camping and they stand up to rigors well.

My waist is typically ~31" but i hate baggy clothes and these hug well.
