Bill S.'s Bio

Skinny little boy from Cleveland Ohio. I once took a trip out west 12 years ago because I was sick of the bone chilling winters working as an electrician outside. I kinda got lost, ended up in Park City and before I knew it I was hanging off of ski towers working as a ski lift mechanic, I sure loved the ski life. Albeit, it only took 2 winters to realize I had no desire to run up and down ski towers the rest of my life. So, off to the magical place called University. Went to the University of Utah and snagged a degree in marketing. After graduation, moved back to Ohio to be by family, and work in the insurance industry. My stint in Ohio didn’t last long, it was Ohio after all (still love you C-land). Thus, I packed up the family, consisting of my very German wife and daughter and headed back to the promise land, SLC. Worked for a few bike shops and became to love the people and the culture in the industry. Just recently finished an MBA in Technology Management - I have a slight passion about consumer behavior and marketing. I’m a pretty passionate guy, love the outdoors - ultra runner, backpacker (pre-kid), coffee, and avid cyclist. That’s me in a nutshell.

Motorex may be newer to the scene but if you have not tried their stuff I definitely would give it a go. Everything I have used so far is super Legit. Used this in Moab and it worked great. My product cabinet is slowly filling up with Motorex.

Part of me wants to return this....but the other half love it. In all seriousness, this is a great kit. I have always wanted to wax my own gear and love that I have finally pulled the trigger on this. I had no clue what I was getting into, but excited about where this will go. Wish they would have included a Groove scraper though - my only complaint. Just FYI....waxing skis is messy.

Why Not
5 5

Yes, it's completely ridiculous to spend this much money on a dog collar, but it's the only thing your dog is going to wear...for a long time. Well, that's what I told myself to justify this purchase, plus it was Xmas.
I purchased the 14 for my Goldendoddle, he is currently 12 wks old and I still have plenty of room. I sure hope it fits forever, if not, I will buy another puppy for more justification ;) The down side of buying this is you have to buy the leash too - Item #FSN001X.

I'm not sure there is a better headlamp on the market for morning runs
Highlights that I love: Rechargeable, back-light for protection on the road, adjustable front light which is perfect for steep descents on the trail, dimmable light to elongate battery life.
Great piece!

My new favorite short, especially the Dolomite Blue color! I just ordered another pair. Light weight, side pockets, and rear zip pocket are some of the highlights. Soft waist band material is perfect as well. These will be my R2R2R shorts for 2018!

Was pretty excited about getting this piece for running and skiing. I used it this morning under a Patagonia Houdini and it was perfect, temps were around 32 degrees. It feels softer than other Merino layers I have had. I purchased a Small and it's almost perfect. It's light weight and for longer runs it will be easily packable with any pack.
Please reach out to me if you have any questions.

Great short to shred in. Not too baggy and not too tight. The fit is key with these short though. I measure a 32"€ waist and I purchased a 30, and they fit perfect. A 32"€ would be too big for sure and with no buckle or string to tighten, it would be a problem. That said, I recommend sizing down. Material is great and the design is solid. No complaints at all. Please let me know if you have any questions on these shorts or any others.

Size Purchased, 30

I demoed the 2017/2018 Jet 9 in Park City and the following week I bought one. I feel this bike is the best Trail/Cross-Country bikes on the market with the 130mm setup. I will be riding this bike until something else comes out that can beat it, absolutely love it. This is nothing like the old Jet, so those that have one, this is a new animal. The chainstays were shortened, the headtube went from 70 degrees to 67.5, and the BB is now threaded. In addition, it's boosted and you can run 3.0 27+ tires and 2.4 29er tires. Climbs great and still super playful on the descents. I built mine with XT, but the GX is a solid groupset from Sram with a lot of range

The Niner's CVA (Constantly Varying Arc) suspension design is what sold me on this bike. It felt great climbing and super playful on the descents with great mid stroke support.
Please reach out to me if you have any questions on this or are interested in a custom build.

Saddle height is 71.5cm - Medium fits perfect. Weight is 25.6lbs, XT w/ Reynolds Blacklabel
