was expecting this to be warmer. I would compare this a warm baselayer, nothing like a light down jacket. I have a ghost whisperer, which is significantly warmer. I have only been skiing in this jacket, have not had a chance to take it mountain biking or hiking where i am generating a significant amount of heat.

Also, i am 5 10, 170lbs (broad shouldlers). i find this is tight in the chest and loose in the waist, wish it had more of a tapered fit

I have this and the smartwool equivalent. I actually prefer this shirt, this smartwool has gotten smaller through several wash cycles, while this one has remained true to size. I am sure this is somewhat opinionated, but i think this material is a bit softer on the skin than smartwool. Either way awesome shirt. Can wear it for a week and no stench

Very light, super versatile. I take this backpacking and am comfortable walking around in 30 degrees. Also use it when i go skiing, significantly warmer than all of my synthetic layers. I wouldn't use this jacket to be sedentary in the 30's, you will be cold. Have worn jacket through brush and have had no snags/ rips. I have some down jackets were the feather quils are still on the down and it is pointy enough to pierce the shell, has not happened with this jacket

I have several wool baselayers, a patagonia capiliene and this is the warmest. I also like the fit of it, it is somewhat "fitted" so it stays contoured to my body around shoulders and waist. I would call it more of a base layer than midlayer. Material is very comfortable and warm. Whats not to like?

I absolutely love this jacket. Very warm, i would comfortable wear this and a t shirt around in 30 degree weather. Jacket also has nice durability, i have worn this hiking with a pretty significant amount of brush, and there were no rips on the jacket. I would highly recommend
