I got these amphibs mainly for trail running in the wet sloppy spring conditions here in Utah. The lug pattern on these is great and very little mud sticks between them and it falls off the soles easily. These shoes drain water and dry out very quick. I have about 100 miles on them and so far they are holding up great - I am slightly nervous the mesh may start to tear faster than typical trail shoes, but without the mesh upper these shoes would not perform the same in wet conditions.

An added benefit of the mesh upper is they are extremely breathable, I have found these are amazing for very hot conditions as well. The Amphibs fit the same as all other salomon trail running shoes.

Although this is a vest, I would say it more comparable to a pack. I would not recommend this pack if your runs are less than 10 miles and all you bring with is water, snacks and a phone. If you are going on longer require lots of food, layers, addition water, extra socks, poles, cameras, etc.. this will be perfect for you! I have used this on all day runs and alpine scrambles and have not had any issue with restricting mobility.

A few features I really love about this pack are:
- the internal trash pocket, this prevents the rest of the pack getting sticky from left over Gu's
- I sweat a lot, and this pack keeps everything inside dry, I do not have to worry about my extra layers getting soaked by sweat
- the main compartment stretches a lot so it is seemingly never full

Security blanket

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I purchased this not for month long expeditions in the Himalayas, but for the daily trail runs where a broken ankle could lead to an unexpected night out, backcountry ski tours, long days off the grid and weekend backpacking trips. The inReach Mini is easy to set up and very easy to use. Although I only use it for the preset messages and (hopefully never) the SOS button, I have found the mini very intuitive. Battery life is pretty good, I typically turn it off and check in whenever I stop. (GoPro for scale in photo)

So far I have ran about 100 miles in these shoes, besides being dirty, they are still in great shape and show little wear. Like most salomon shoes, I have found there is no break in period - I took these shoes right out of the box and ran 13 miles with them without any abnormal foot pains. Between the SensiFit upper, the EndoFit internal sleeve, and the quicklace shoe strings, my foot doesn't move around at all in these shoes. With the Contagrip soles, there is minimal slippage on loose wet surfaces. During a 20 miler with these in wet/rainy conditions for the first 10 miles, these shoes dried pretty quick the second half and my feet were not uncomfortable.

One small gripe, I prefer the lace garage (the little pocket at the top of the tongue where the lace is tucked into) where it is loaded from the bottom rather than tucked in from the top. Most of salomon's shoes have the bottom loading garage, which I am used to.

I bought this pack intending to use it for my Canon T3i and GoPros, and it works perfectly for that. This bag could easily hold a lot bigger cameras than the T3i and a lot longer lens than my 80-250mm. I am able to get the T3i, two gopros, chargers, extra lens, bunch of mounts, and a lot more accessories. The removal camera block is is easily removal. I find it is perfect for when you don't have enough room to bring along the entire bag but still want to protect the camera.

This jacket is awesome, I bought it intending to use it as my non-ski winter jacket and it has served its purpose. I bought this while I was in college hoping it would be warm enough that I would not need to wear many layers when walking to class and then sitting inside a hot lecture hall and it did exactly that. Often times I wear nothing but a T-shirt underneath this jacket and I do not get cold at all. This jacket is also a great windbreaker and does not allow any wind in.
