if you're looking to upgrade, these shoes are worth a try (I wouldn't recommend them for a beginner). When I switched, I was instantly more confident on harder grades and noticed a significant change in my climbing. This toe will stick to just about anything. These are ideal for bouldering and single pitch.

Sizing is tricky and such an individual thing that its impossible to give advice on what to choose-- I can comment on how they fit over time. I talked to a lot of other climbers about the stretch of their miuras because I've had La Sportiva's stretch on me before. Some guys told me theirs had stretched, but I haven't experienced much stretch with mine. There was a break in period (painful, but worth it!), but no stretching, they have remained snug!

One and only complaint: the flower design, my pet peeve is when companies make women's outdoor gear girly. Luckily, its not as noticeable once they get a little dirty!!

I picked up a pair for these about 7 months ago and I'm finally ready to review them. I've been very pleased with their comfort and performance in different conditions. Through snow, mud and ice conditions my feet were nice and dry. I was surprised with how comfortable they were out of the box....and I can confirm after taking them on various trails they are still comfortable after 7 or 8 hours of hiking!

Because of a previous injury, ankle support is a concern of mine. These boots offer great support and I have found I'm able to navigate all sorts of terrain without worrying about my ankle with these Lowas. I wear an 8 in most shoes and these are an 8 for me as well.

overall, these are a great choice for boots, I don't think you can go wrong here!

osprey continues to impress me time and time again. Having other packs of theirs, I picked this up looking for a pack to trail run with. I've run with it, and it actually has a little more space than I need for trail running, but it quickly became my favorite pack for bike commuting. I really like osprey's hydration bladders and love that magnetic bite valve feature to have it sitting there waiting for me on the chest strap.
The verve 9 gives me enough space to carry my u-lock, a layer or two, small pile of snacks, personal items like cell phone & keys, and the 3 liters of water. Not too shabby. Oh, and its comfortable too.

Overall, I would describe this jacket as perfect. For me, it's been everything I was looking for in a hard shell, including that it's Paclite Gore-Tex. This jacket is very light weight and easy to stuff in my pack while also being extremely durable and ready to handle the elements. The ability to play around with ventilation so much with the hem to underarm zippers is one of the stronger points of this jacket, making it a good piece year round.

I also find it fits really comfortably and it's been easy to layer or wear independently. The hood is great and I have been able to fit it easily over a climbing helmet.

Basically, its perfect. Nice work on this one, OR!

I'm all about purchasing things that I can use in multiple settings. This cap 2 layer has been my go-to option a lot when climbing, hiking and yoga. I've been very happy with its comfort & how well it wicks. Its a great top on its own for those too cold for a t-shirt but too warm for a fleece situations. Also works well as a layer under other clothing.

The thumb loops are kind of silly. I haven't used them, but they're there if you need them.

some last advice: follow the care instructions, i've come across cap 2 shirts that have shrunk in some funky ways...

I picked up a pair of these a little over two months ago after sadly putting a big hole in the butt of my favorite tights (nice, right?) After a week, these stoic tights seemed like the replacement I was looking for and I picked up a second pair.

Now that I have two, I'm in these multiple times a week. Ive already logged plenty of hours in them climbing indoors, on runs, hiking, biking, as a baselayer while boarding and a few times to yoga. They haven't been out in foul weather yet, but they seem to dry pretty quickly based on my laundry experiences.

They've stood up pretty well so far. I wasn't completely thrilled with the waistband at first, there is both the elastic of the pants and a second band. I actually removed the second band and found them to be much more comfortable after that (and they stay up just fine). I usually wear a small or medium, but usually more smalls than medium so I decided on a small, and the fit works for me, so I would say they run true to size.

Bottomline: I'd recommend these... good price & versatile

I bought these gloves to upgrade my sad old gloves that I had put through 10 years of torture. I've been extremely happy so far. I've worn them with and without the lining and find both options comfortable. The inside of the shell is fleece lined and I really like that. So far they've done well on the ski hill, around the city on colder days, and clearing snow off a car when I was too lazy to grab a snow brush.

I used to be the one with cold hands, always, this weekend I took these gloves on the hill with single digit temperatures and was happy. (and didn't even use their hand warmer pocket)

I will say, the sticky side of the velcro that attaches the liner inside the outer shell is on the liner. If I take the liners out for whatever reason, I find them sticking to all my other gear because of that velcro... so watch out for that, you'd hate to lose a liner somewhere or leave it behind.

Merrell has done a really nice job with this shoe. The comfort was the selling point for me, and I've been very happy with wearing these all day, day after day. They have performed well on the trail and around town. I'm typically a size 8, bought an 8 and wear a hiking sock with them, the fit works out well.

this is my go-to for a mid-layer but it stands alone well on milder days. I find it incredibly warm and lightweight, plus easy to move around in. I purchased this piece over a month ago and I can only think of 2 days where I didn't wear it. I highly recommend it

first chalk bag was a prana, second was not... and I couldn't wait to get my hands back on a prana bag. I like the waist clip, but its also super easy to clip on with a carabiner too. Bag is lightweight and has a tight closure so I have never thought twice about throwing it around in my backpack.

I've owned this jacket for the past year and have worn it frequently across all 4 seasons. Ive worn it while biking, hiking, commuting, running, and snowboarding. I love the underarm vents for hiking, biking and running, use them all the time. Its lightweight and easy to stuff into a bag. I also find it fits true to size and easy to layer under. I wear a small top in everything and am able to fit multiple layers under a small precip, I didn't need to size up.

Commuting/running/hiking in the wet weather, including snow, its been a solid outer layer, wasn't terrible as an outer layer while boarding, but wouldn't be my first choice in this case.
