Familiarity: I've used it several times
The Limelight 3P is a great tent and is meeting all of my expectations! I couldn't be more pleased. I've used it for one trip, 4 nights, two campgrounds. Upon my first use last fall, I had three very raining nights and I couldn't have felt more secure in staying dry and sleeping well. The rain hammered down at times as if I were set up under a waterfall. To the point of standing groundwater water outside of my tent during the storms. Easy to set up, take down, stow and travel! All pluses in my opinion. My primary use so far is solo car camping, so plenty of room for me using a twin size, low profile air mattress. The queen size air mattress of that same brand will probably work as well, but would def eat into indoor floor space. The vestibule is roomy enough to store my lightweight camp chair during stormy weather, without having to break it down. The Limelight would probably also be good in a backpacking format and splitting the contents amongst fellow hikers, if so desired. Note...the blue tarp visible in the pictures was only necessary due to the sketchy, pebbly ground in the tenting area. The Limelight comes with a great footprint, but I wasn't taking any chances on the tent's inaugural use. Looking forward to getting back out this spring!
