The 686 Lola pant is really well made. The double layer fabric on the inner kick panel, reinforced hems and boot gaiters are made to be put to the test. Cargo pockets are placed well the outer waist adjustment is accessible. I like it.
Kids are happier and complain less on the hill when they are warm and comfortable. You can step right into this one piece and boom, ready! Ready for any weather and conditions. No snow is getting in. Reinforced where needed, this one piece is durable.
What a good print! The girl that wears this jacket will be easy to spot out in this Lagoon Blue Gem print. Hood adjustment, cuff adjustments, helmet compatibility, ability to grow in the sleeves, pass pocket, powder skirt and more. This jacket is a winner for the price.
This 686 Speckle jacket in Dusty Pink has great detail in the embroidery and the exposed zipper give this jacket a very cute look. It also has a long list of impressive features including powder skirt, Youth Evolution (ability to grow 1 1/2 inches in the sleeve), helmet compatibility in the hood, pass pocket and the waterproofing needed for wet days.
I have bought more than one Smarty jacket for my son over the years. Each time, I feel like this is a good and smart purchase. The jacket comes with a removable fleece liner. The Camo jacket comes with a camel colored liner. The blue jacket comes with a black liner. My son has liked his Smarty jackets for snowboarding but admittedly, I can't always get him to wear a real jacket to school. He will wear the liner though and it's better than a cotton hoody so I'm a happy mom.
I bought two pairs of this pant to go with 686 jackets, the Forest and the Cross. I bought black since both these boys will ski/ride all season long and well into muddy Spring. The Youth Evolution grows 1 1/2 inch in the leg. The legs also have double layer fabric on the inner kick panels. The bottom hem is reinforced. Built to last.
I bought this for my son. He just climbs in it and he is ready. Soooo easy. He will wear this on the ski hill, on the tubing hill, on snow days and maybe even to the bus stop. The arms and legs will grow with him for next year. A 'Mom win' for sure.
I bought this jacket for a friend's son. He picked it out himself in Cherckers Color block and when it arrived last week, he put it on and started doing flips on the trampoline in the backyard. Needless to say, he is ready for ski season! It's his first season with a pass so he is pretty stoked on the pass pocket. It fits loose which is perfect for layering up and growth. It also features Youth Evolution in the sleeves for the mid season growth spurt.
I got this jacket for a friend's son who needed a warm but cool (haha) jacket to snowboard in. I picked this Black Forest jacket because he is a style-ly young man. His style is slightly alternative and he's into skating and art, like Forest Bailey. My mom friend liked it because he liked it and because the hood is very helmet compatible. The sleeve fabric also has youth evolution. Pull the red string out on the sleeves and they growth with the kid.
I'm going into my second season with the black 686 Utopia pant. They still look pretty new. Big thumbs up on the Cordura kick panel. The leg pocket is subtle yet perfectly placed. The fit is comfortable. It's the most waterproof pant in the 686 women's line. I love this pant.
It's Gore-Tex so we all know this is a very technical jacket. My favorite features are the merino wool inner collar, RFID blocking inner pocket and the collar heat pack hot pockets. I have tried heat pack feature yet but definitely will. This print is also pretty much the coolest Gore-Tex print I've ever seen.
I have more than one 686 Smarty piece. Because let's face it, I have more fun when I am warm! This year's Smarty 3-in-1 Cargo Pant with the yoga legging is an amazing added value. I'm just as excited about the leggings which I know will get used off the hill a lot, as I am excited about riding Smarty again this season. I feel really good about this purchase.
The fit is tailored and has a slimming look. But it's actually comfortable too because it has side stretch panels and adjustable shoulder straps. I really like the look of the exposed metal zippers.
I love 686 Thermagraph pants and this jacket. The Cloud Thermagraph jacket is going to keep me warm and dry all season. My favorite features are 20k waterproofing, the stretchy powder skirt and the Vader vents. The Vader vents are holes in the upper neck area to create breathability so when you pull the jacket up for warmth on the chair lift, there is less fogging up if any at all.
And finally a plain, black, technical jacket that doesn't look like all the others. Yay!
This is a tough pant. It is made very well, starting with the 20k waterproofing and thermograph panels for added insulation. Also, the reinforced inner kick panels are essential. The thermagraph panels are placed on the butt and knees.
I love this jacket. The camo print sold me but my favorite features are the helmet compatibility (no pull) and the sleeve pass pocket. It has a looser fit which is perfect for me since I like freedom to move and freedom to layer up!
