Tiny, Thin, Terrific!

Familiarity: I've used it several times

This towel is pretty awesome! I bought it based off of all the good reviews and i'm not disappointed in the slightest. The way the towel is wrapped in the photo description appears to be a lot thicker than it actually is. In reality, it's actually really thin and small! I ordered a size Large and i'm happy with this size... it's about the size of a regular bath towel as far as length and width go. Nice thing about this towel is that it can pack down super small! Check it out next to my school notebook!

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: Runs large
Size Purchased: 37

I ordered my Birks and found them to be quite big on my feet. They were really comfy, but I had too much extra space at the toe and in the heel area. The birks are so comfy because the foot beds have little ridges that help contour your foot in the shoe for a comfortable fit. That's how I figured they were too big...where my foot was in the foot bed just didn't match up with the other ridges in the shoe. I had to return my pair of 37's and I'm a true size 7... if you see on the size chart, I already down sized when I originally got the shoes b/c I read reviews that said they run big.
I'm definitely going to get another pair because they're so comfortable and cute! Just be aware that this shoe runs really big! I'm having to down size 2 whole sizes! *Keep in mind when choosing your size that the leather will stretch a little bit with wear*

Hope this helps!

As the title suggests, I love Chacos! They're super comfortable and perfect for any occasion during any season! You heard that right... I've worn my chac's in winter before....
The best part of chaco's are the adjustable straps. You can basically mold this shoe to your foot by adjusting the straps (there's a handy guide that comes with the shoes)
I also really like the arch support in this shoe. I have a slight arch and that's exactly what this shoe has as well. It's not putting too much pressure on my arches where it hurts and I'm not walking on a flat surface either.
These are great shoes for hiking, rafting, climbing (approach), boating, camping, or anything casual. They dry and clean quickly which is a definite plus!
The only reason I voted 4 stars rather than 5 is because Chaco's used to use Vibram soles which is an aggressive rubber that's super grippy! The rubber soles that they have on the shoes now are still good, but they don't handle any aggressive terrain very well.
I still bought a pair though, because I still believe they're better than other sandals on the market.

You don't need a super fancy ski pole to go with your super fancy skis, super fancy boots, and super fancy get-up... these poles are sleek, they glide easily, come with two kinds of baskets (one being powder), grippy handles, super light weight, and surprisingly tough!
These are the best bang for your buck, so stop wasting time on the internet looking for poles that are too expensive, get these and go skiing already!!!

If you have any sizing questions, feel free to contact me via chat and ask for Annie G. or reach me by email at anngonzalez@backcountry.com
I'd be happy to help you out with any ski gear questions you might have!

Not sure what the temperature rating is for this glove/mitt, but it's super warm! I got these to replace my BD gloves (which I love but have an awkward fit) and I LOVE these. They are really warm, like the title suggests, it withstood a ski trip up in Canada in January. I love the 3finger glove concept because it allows me the freedom to mess with my zippers, coat cuffs, ski boots, and ear phones when i'm out on the slopes. These function easy enough to where I don't have to take my gloves off and fidget, get cold, and then put my gloves back on.
These gloves (as well as all Hestra gloves) come with waterproofing oil that you definitely need to rub thoroughly on the gloves before you use them! It will prolong the life of the glove and prevent large pores and dry cracking in the leather. It also helps to get the gloves toasty warm before applying the balm. When the glove is warm it will mold to your hands right when you rub the balm on and they'll be much more comfortable when you first take them out!
These are great quality and really comfy, and warm! Use them in the dead of winter, they will be way too warm as a spring glove. The low profile cuff is a nice plus as well!

I know it's a bit hard/weird to measure your hands... if you're having trouble with the size chart and getting your measurements feel free to connect with me on chat and I can help you out based on your information. I have fairly small hands and got a size 7 which fits me perfectly.

Just added this cute kiwi green hydroflask to my collection! Super cute and the color is spot on! It's a burly water bottle that will withstand and bangs or drops it might encounter. It's pretty heavy when it's filled up so I would advise against this water bottle for backpacking. However, for everyday use, and car camping, or pretty much anything else, it's my go to water bottle! Makes a great gift!

Wow. I've never been so comfy in my entire life. Buy these and you won't regret it. These pants are super soft, they hold its size after washing, and are so comfy! I can't stress how comfy these are.. They run slightly large, so if you're not sure about what size to get, go a size down. They will flatter your booty and legs and will stretch slightly with wear. I can't wait to go home and put these on again!! I'm definitely going to buy a couple more of these in the other colors.

This is such a cute, simple, lightweight sweater! It feels thin but it's comfortably warm! It makes for a great casual piece for hanging out. Layer with a cute fleece under or over for more warmth.
Patagonia is known for it's quality and this pullover is no exception! Don't cheap out with an ordinary sweater, get this one and thank me later.

I went with a size small because I don't like super baggy crew neck sweaters. The fit is very true to size. I still have some bagginess but it's not drowning me. It fits just as a sweatshirt should. I can tell this will be my go-to sweater for lots of occasions!

This beanie is a classic beanie to add to your collection! It's pretty simple which is awesome because it's so versatile!
I usually wear my beanies slouchy, with a big of bagginess in the back and you can't really do that with this beanie because it's woven nice and tight (comfortably tight) this beanie looks cute when it's folded up but if you want that slouchy look, you'll have to work at it to stretch it out.
It make take a while to stretch this beanie out though because it's woven so well.
It's pretty thick too, so if you normally like to buy beanies with fleece, don't miss this one! It's great! I'll probably buy more in different colors.

I just got this boot bag for my trip to Whistler in couple weeks. I picked this bag mainly because the price is so attractive and I read some reviews saying there's actually a lot of room in this bag to pack extra things like goggles, gloves, socks, and even a helmet. That surprised me! To my pleasant surprise, the reviews were right! There is so much extra room in this boot bag I was able to fit all my stuff in there (Helmet, gloves, goggles, sunnies, snacks, gaiter, keys, phone) and it still feels really light! I have back problems, so I was pretty worried about this bag not having backpack straps.. I'm really happy that I don't lean at all with this bag over my shoulder and i'm thankful it feels so light! It really hasn't caused any pain for my back at all.

Keep in mind, my boots are a 22.5 (quite small) so of course there is extra space but I have about 4 good inches of extra space from toe-to-bag, and from the top of the boot to the zipper.

If you check out the photo, you'll see the inside of the bag is fully taped and has a nice durable lining that will help protect your belongings during travel.

I got these shoes for my sister as a present and here's what she has to say about the shoe....

"I love these boots! I'm able to wear them in almost any condition- rain, dirt, and rocky trails, too. They are so comfortable and easy to slip on and off. They keep me comfortably warm if I'm wearing wool socks. I bought these a half size up just so I could wear thick socks with them and i'm glad I did. They are great to wear with leggings and are also paired nicely with denim. They are made really well, and the leather is excellent quality. They are my new favorite pair of shoes and I can tell that they'll hold up for years to come."

5 hour product

I've had my hydroflask 18oz for about a year now and I love it! It's awesome for travel and work. I mainly use mine for work so I can bring in my own meals and save some money.
I've tested out my food container to see how long the food actually stays hot for and personally my food container lasts up to 5 hours. I was hoping for a little bit more time with the food flask because I have a ton of hydroflask water bottles and travel coffee mugs and the hot and cold temperatures last FOREVER in the beverage containers.
Hydroflask is impressive. You should definitely grab this and ditch your plastic containers that you have to reheat your meal in the microwave with. Keep your food fresh!

I love love love this lid! BUY THIS IT"S SO WORTH IT!
I gotta be honest, I'm a hydroflask loyal... but I hate their coffee lids..the reason why being that they have a latch that you have to flip to open which causes splashing (I really don't need anymore coffee stains on my clothes)
This lid is a twist top so it eliminates that splashing from happening. I also noticed this lid absolutely DOES NOT LEAK! travel coffee mugs have been around long enough... finally someone fixed the leak issue. Thank you Klean Kanteen!
There is a noticeable difference between the 2.0 lid and the regular cafe top. The 2.0 take a bit more "work" to open (where you sip out of) because the seal is so nice and secure.
Get this lid to avoid coffee spills and splashes! You're going to thank yourself later, trust me!

I got these shoes as a Christmas gift for my pops. He loves slip on shoes with a sturdy rubber sole so naturally I saw these shoes fit the bill.
He's had Merrell's in previous years and it takes him so long to wear them down to the point he doesn't want to wear them anymore.
When he first tried them on, they seemed a bit tight (he has pretty thick/wide feet) but he said they were super comfortable! Because the top of the shoe is leather, it will have some give and stretch over time and wear, which is good, because the shoe will only become more comfortable. The shoes online look pretty casual, but they definitely make a nice (sturdy) dress shoe as well.
My dad paired these shoes with a dark denim pant and a beige sweater for a night out and as his 22 year old daughter, I APPROVED.
I ordered a size 9.5 and he said they fit true to size. My dad is 5'10", I don't know how much he weighs, but he's a bulky guy.
Hope this helps!

I just got these socks to add to my enormous sock collection (I seriously have a problem) and found that these run large. I am a size 7 in shoes, 5'4" 125 lbs for reference, and although they're cute, they're a big baggy especially in the heel. I also found that they don't breathe very well. My toes were cold (because it's mid winter) but they were also sweating due to the lack of breathability in the fabric.

Don't get me wrong, these socks are super cute! I'd say more of a spring time/summer sock to pair with cute stylish tennies or boots.

I LOVE my Sydneys! These should definitely become a Smith classic style. I've had mine for a year now I love them! I've used them climbing, hiking, rafting, and doing pretty much anything outdoors, and I've been able to use them for non-sporty activities too. I love how versatile these glasses are and how I have the option to dress them up.
They fit great around my face and do not cause any headaches or even marks on the bridge of my nose! (hate that)
If you're anything like me and pretty much break and destroy everything you touch... then trust me when I say these glasses are SO durable. I used to just buy the cheap $10-$15 dollar glasses, and after losing and breaking so many of those, I decided to take the plunge and just get some nice glasses. I love these, and they are so worth the price.
The polarized lenses actually make a hell of a difference on the eyes, not only with tinting, but they enhance color, and my eyes don't feel as dry and tired after a day out in the sun.
Get them! They're worth it!

**apologies for the sideways photo**

I picked up these BD Patrol Gloves in the 14'/15' season so i've used them for about 2 seasons now, and even though the stitching has stayed together really well for the gloves, I've found that the leather (mainly in the palm area) has started to stretch and the poors have become huge..
I treated the leather on the gloves when I first got them so I'm a little bummed the leather has started to wear out that quickly.
I also don't really like the overall fit for the glove as well... I didn't really notice it at first, but once I started having to really use the gloves (unbuckling my ski boots/zipping up my jacket) I noticed the cut for the fingers didn't go all the way down to the top of my palm, thus causing a webbed finger effect.
As far as warmth goes for the glove, I've been comfortable on days in the 20-30 degree (F) range, but once wind is an added factor, I start to feel it on the tops of my fingers and knuckles first.
They're a good glove, and I suggest getting them while they're on sale, or get them if you live in a more temperate climate.

This is a follow up review from my previous review I wrote. I took my Foresake boots out hiking in UT mid-winter just after we got 15" of new snow! I figured this would be the best time to try out the boots and see how waterproof they actually are. To my pleasant surprise, they are 100% waterproof! I was trudging through deep snow (past the top of the boot itself) and I stayed 100% dry and 100% warm! I'm so surprised with the quality of these shoes! WOW! Highly, highly recommend!
