Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 6"
Weight: 145 lbs
Size Purchased: 29 short

After YEARS of tolerating ill fitting jeans that just never seemed to cover my a** consistently if I so much as dared to move in them, my problems have finally been solved! I am pretty average as far as body type goes (or so I thought-I actually read that the Arc'teryx model is exactly the same size as me 5'6/28" waist...) Anyway, I guess I have bigger thighs (not really I thought but most jeans indicate otherwise) because when I had ACL surgery and my quads severely atrophied, my old crappy jeans fit just fine. Fast forward two years and I have my muscle tone back and those jeans bind up in all the wrong places again.

Anyway, so about these pants, these jeans fit great. They stay on my a** even if I move. I haven't tried climbing in them yet but I totally would with confidence. They are super comfy for traveling. They look good enough for a more casual office environment. I prefer a lower/mid rise jean and these come up just perfect. So I bought another pair. Easy to convince myself to do when they were on sale!!!

My only complaints-come on, I am not short by any standards and in pretty good shape overall but I had to order the short version. Oh well, it's only a small blow to my ego I guess. Also, I wish there were more color options.

Overall stoked on finally finding jeans that look good and I feel good wearing.

I got my Snap T pullover 3 years ago. While this is not a technical piece, it has kept me warm, cozy, and looking good over the years! The pullover is in great condition still. When you can find them on sale for under $60, there is no reason not to have one in your wardrobe!

I got the 60 cm for alpine draws and the 120s for anchors. I love how lightweight and narrow these are without compromising on strength-I can thread them through a v thread when setting up a toprope on ice :D Way easier to clean than trying to untie cord. My favorite slings I have used thus far!

These pants are fantastic. They have everything you need, nothing you don't, keep you warm and dry, and look good doing it. I have had mine for 3 years now and they look as good as the day I got them. Highly recommended.

There is a reason you see Nano Puffs everwhere. They are awesome. They are pack able, somewhat reasonably priced, warm, and look good. The durability is probably the biggest deficiency with this jacket. After years of use, mine is showing some wear. The elastic in the cuffs has definitely seen better days.

This jacket truly straddles the puffy/fleece line. It breathes well and is super cozy on a cold day. However, the fabric seems to soak up dirt and never quite get clean. It also has not held up well to use with a hip belot on my pack or my climbing harness.

I like these pants. The features are for the most part well thought out (except the front zipper pockets that get stuck!). However, the durability is less than expected. After half a season out, these pants started showing significant wear. A full season later, the seams ripped...

I was stoked when I first got these pants. The first half dozen times I wore them, they kept me dry. After wearing them in a downpour in cool conditions, I noticed some moisture on the inside of the pants.

This pump gets the job done. It is relatively light and compact as far as pumps go. I have not managed to break it yet; I am pretty talented at breaking things. I have not gotten sick from any water obtained using this. The water bottle adapter is nice but a little big and bulky to pack. I don't usually use it, but it works well. It might not be the fastest pump but it is up there. My GF has a katadyn pump that is similar to operate. I think it is a little faster since it pumps on the up and down stroke. Overall, I would buy this pump again.

Overall, these glasses are good. The lenses are high quality, the frame is durable. They have been pretty resistant to scratching thus far. I have a pretty small face and they actually fit pretty well. They don't slide off my head like a lot of sunglasses do. My gripe with these glasses is that I have long hair. When I put them on, the metal accent on the end of the ear pieces will catch my hair... which is very uncomfortable and frustrating. If you have short hair, then these glasses are great. Personally, I will be buying a different pair of sunglasses just because I don't like pulling my hair out every time I try to put on my sunglasses....

I purchased an older version of this top.... and then had to buy two more because I liked it so much. It is a little longer fit than my other base layers... which is nice for not coming untucked when out touring, climbing, hiking, etc. The colors are awesome. The fit is great-a little on the tighter side... but that is what I want in a base layer. It does not itch. I find that it does start to smell some after a lot of sweating. The thumb holes are an excellent touch. I am 5'6/140#, athletic build and the medium is just right. I need to go purchase a few more of these once they have more of my size in stock....

I always like the functionality of the Tracker 2 but I really hated the size. The idea of just clipping my beacon into my pocket and not worrying about it during layer changes is now a feasible reality for me with the Tracker 3. The tracker 3 fits well in my pocket!! I have been a Tracker user since day one due to their reliability and ease of use. The LCD display on the trackers is simple to use in locating burials and works great in all conditions. Switching from transmit to search is straight forward. I have messed around with the multiple burial modes. It is not the most intuitive system but seems like it would get the job done should the need arise. For single burials (We all ski one at a time anyway, right?) this does the job well. The noises this thing makes were surprising at first, coming from the beeping of the Tracker 2 to the space-age montage of the 3. They can be muted if it is too annoying. Overall, this delivers the reliability, durability, and usability that I expect from a BCA Tracker.

Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Fit: True to size

I got this as a gift for my mom who does a lot of urban biking. She is a very stylish lady and the basic get her from point A to point B dry and reflective jacket just was not good enough. This jacket struck that perfect balance of functionality and style. The waterproof value has been leak proof thus far. Where this coat really shines is in how reflective it is. In bright conditions, it looks like a pretty normal jacket. However, when you shine a light on it it is bright! You don't get just a few accent reflective pieces. You get your entire torso illuminated. The truly impressive part of this coat is that she will actually wear it in public once she gets to her destination. This is a lady who will pack around extra clothes just to look her best when she gets to where she is going. With this jacket, she does not feel the need to do that. The sizing on this seemed true to size. I feel better knowing my mom will be safer and seen by traffic.

I got this on sale to replace using my clothes iron on my skis.... I am so glad I did! Might not have the most features, but it gets the job done well. The iron seems to heat evenly and spread the wax out well. I also used it to recondition some climbing skins with great success. I have not actually used the wax that came with it yet. I probably wouldn't buy this kit full price but for the outlet price, I am glad I finally upgraded to using a legit designated ski waxing iron.

This is my first Norrona purchase and it will not be my last! These pants are awesome. I got them for winter hiking and ice climbing. Unfortunately, I tore my ACL early in the season and have not been able to put them through the wringer.. yet. I can't wait to though! I have only had them out several times. They have repelled water and tears well. I snagged them a few times and you can't even tell. I love the fit and they look great. I was not sure on the sizing but ended up going with my normal size, "medium" and it was spot on. Love all the pockets and they stretch with you as you move. The waist adjust system works well though I usually wear a belt with them out of habit. Overall, I might even buy in another color.

Me and my dog love it!

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have a high energy dog. He will hike for days and still be ready to go. So he now carries his own gear (and some of mine!!). Overall, the pack is great. It is well made with good features. The carry handle is awesome for grabbing him quickly if a moose or large group of people comes by. I have not used the leash clip as I just clip to his collar but that is a nice option to have. I also really like the reflective striping.

My dog loves rolling... in everything. He does not care if he has a pack on or not. That said, the pack has held up great to his rolling on rocks and shifts on him surprisingly little.

My only complaint is on the sizing. My dog is a little over 40 pounds; a smaller "medium" size mutt. I had to cut the padding off the bottom straps in order to cinch it down tight enough on him. I would expect a small to fit him fine, if not be borderline too small.

Overall, well made product. I think it is safe to assume that my dog loves it since he gets excited every time he sees me start packing it.

I got this bag for my Kilimanjaro climb, which turned into a trip to 9 countries, all the while dragging this bag full of gear around. After three 36+ hour flights, several train rides, getting lost in Paris while carrying this bag, having it carried up and down Kilimanjaro by (the amazing) porters, and throwing it in the back of a (very bumpy) safari rig for four days, this bag is still in amazing shape. I also use it for work and other less crazy trips.

As far as the design of the bag goes, it is pretty simplistic, but just enough. The lid and side pockets are perfect to keep your small stuff organized. The capacity of the main compartment is great for long or gear-intensive trips that require a lot of gear. The ease of switching between duffel and backpack style carry is also nice; the bag has separate straps for each.

Overall, highly recommended and excellent product.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

Bottom line: this is my go to jacket for almost everything. Wish I had bought one last season.

I had a couple of friends with nanopuff jackets and have wanted one for a while. I finally broke down and got one right before I left to go hike Mt Kilimanjaro. This jacket has been just as great as I hoped it would be. It is warm, extremely packable, and looks great on the trail and around town. I have worn it as an outer and a mid layer and it functions great as both. I was sure glad I got it for Kilimanjaro. I wore it every day.

In the two months I have had this, It has been hiking in several countries and all around my home state of Alaska. I can't wait to take it out skiing once the snow sets up.

As far as fit, it is true to size. I wear a medium in almost all outdoor gear. 5'6, 145#.

My only complaint is the stitching. I snagged some thread on one of the arms when I was unpacking it from its pocket. Now the thread is a little bunched and I have a loop on the arm. Some friends with the same coat have the same problem. I would imagine that with Patagonia's customer service, they would repair it if I called them. Really doesn't bother me enough to do anything about it.

The hood is also a nice feature :) Also, love the blue color.

Everybody needs this coat!
