Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: Runs large
Height: 6' 0"
Weight: 170 lbs
Size Purchased: Medium

Fabric is great, color is great, everything about this is awesome except for a weird (perhaps a sewing defect in only the one I received) yet the bottom of the arm openings flop out in every direction and don't at all fit to the body creating weird lines. I could understand if maybe this was designed for a woman with large breasts to be filled in.. problem is I AM one (Average athletic build in size Medium with a 36D) and the extra space flopped out in fabric in unattractive directions. I wanted to like it so much, it fit everywhere else, and I literally tried it on six or seven times over a week period while testing other gear in my order before determining I had to return it. I'm bummed cause I REALLY wanted to love this top.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

As a tall female I rarely can buy women's version of anything.. my body temps jump around throughout the month and I never felt too hot nor too cold in this bag. It's fluffy enough to feel like you're in a nice cozy bed wrapped in a blanket, yet compact enough not to soak up wet tent walls during a super deluge. Once really wet it takes a bit more effort to get it dry again though dew dustings dried pretty quickly. Packs down into a nice little smashed size.. the little bag to smash it into isn't holding up as well though after three years of abuse the bag is running like a champ. It's way too warm for certain climates.. I used it fully unzipped as kind of a wrap blanket everywhere I went across Australia even in cooler mountains, though most of the global spots I play it has been awesome (I just use a different bag for warmer climes). I'm a side, back, belly, crocodile roll onto my tent mate type sleeper so it's been tested in every possible angle and I haven't choked myself with the fabric yet while twisting it around... two comfortable thumbs way up.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: True to size
Height: 6' 0"
Weight: 170 lbs
Size Purchased: 10

Color is just as planned, got the raspberry... they are lovely and go with just about every color. Fit is spot on with an extra little tie loop on the button front that helps keep things from rolling up. There is a liner in the pockets and along inner upper few inches that at first touch feels warm though works well for wicking sweat and keeping those ugly sweat lines from showing through. I'm testing them in seriously humid and rainy hiking in Florida right now... The length is awesome for me, for shorter women these might reach their knee.. for me it's an attractive lower mid-thigh.... a great length as any woman who hikes serious amounts has at some point committed the ultimate error of wearing too short of shorts causing their thighs to rub together so much they set their underwear on fire... avoid chaffing with awesome length. Fit is gently snug, similar to the look of bike shorts without squeezing your fat in unsightly ways... I found it good for scrambling around and not having them catch on anything so they rock for performance and can't wait to rock climb in them too.

I wear A LOT of Columbia clothes so am very surprised that these pants arrived with such a weird cut... length and all else in fit is great as always save for the the rise.. a rise which makes its way a little too far north creating an uncomfortable camel toe... camel toe is great for funny party gags, not so much for hiking and adventure activities... Might be a one off pair though I now have pause buying any more of their pants without trying on just in case this is a permanent new feature... bummed and returning. (Should I be laughing so hard at the notion of posting an image with my review?!? bahaha )

I bought this pattern a few years ago and love it! It has so many colors and patterns within that it goes with anything. When twisted into a beanie I get tons of compliments. I'm online now looking to buy another one as a gift! :) I've used it sailing, backpacking, paddling, hiking, etc and it's never steered me wrong..

I've used this as my primary biner for rock climbing, ice climbing, canyoning and other rappels for years.. it's easy to use even when in cold or wet conditions and I've always felt safe with it? I'm online today buying a second as a backup in case anything should ever happen to it!

I tried these on recently and am hoping to hear if anyone has any thoughts on the ankle support? I do long backpacks often to locations that require heavy gear and/or I'm alone carrying all of my own stuff. Will this boot hold up on rocky terrain for ankle support? How about waterproofing for damp rainforest settings? Thank you.
