Ana Stamenkovic's Bio

Growing up as a "tomboy" during my childhood, I always gravitated towards being outside and in the dirt. 20 years later, I find myself in Salt Lake City, Utah. Living in a place with such a large amount of accessible canyons and mountain ranges has skyrocketed my passion for climbing and hiking. I'm also here to learn how to ski! And I am super eager to get started.

On my active rest days when I am not climbing or hiking, I practice yoga and sometimes do pilates to train for climbing.

I'm also a bookworm and a doodler - if I'm not doing anything climbing or yoga related, I usually have my nose in a book, whether it contains text or blank space for sketching.

This jacket looks and feels expensive as it is - when I wear it I feel as though I could take on the harshest blizzards and win the Iditarod. It's incredibly warm, the black color is deep and rich, and the fur lined hood is super soft.

I also like that you can customize this jacket by removing the fluffy fur trim or the entire hood itself. You can also remove the buckle at the collar that keeps the hood in place if that is not your look.

Fit: I'm a shorty, so parkas tend to be really long/big on me. I found that the Long Bear fits narrow in the shoulders/torso, but is just as long as I would expect a standard parka to be. I tried a size small and while i think an XS would fit me too, it might be a little too narrow/fitted for big layers underneath.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are easily my favorite pair of boots in my arsenal - and I have a lot of boots. The amazing construction of Blundstone is obvious just by looking at them. The leather is of the highest grade, and the stitching throughout the boot is meticulous and clean. Each Blundstone comes with a rugged durable sole that can take on any adventure you set foot on, but is still low key enough to wear out on the town. For added flair, the New Original Series has studded eyelets framing the ankle shaft.

Aside from being good looking, Blundstones are hardy and ready for whatever comes their way. They are your every day, every hike, every camp, every weather condition boot. I have worn these in the snow. I have worn these in the dry desert. I have worn these on steep muddy fall Utah hikes. I have stomped out hot coals from late night camp fires, walked many miles, and kicked them up over logs while enjoying a hot cider during crisp winter evenings. They are my go-to adventure boot, and my go-to city, casual, or dress boot. They stand up to every test and pass with flying colors. Every time I wear these I always get compliments, which triggers another monologue of how awesome these boots are.

Sizing: I have had many people ask me about how the sizing runs. Blundstone sizing is a little nontraditional - the half sizes increase by WIDTH, rather than length. So the boot sole length between a 6.0 and 6.5 will be the same, but the 6.5 will be a good deal wider than the 6.0. When going up a full size, the width and boot sole length increases. These are chelsea style boots, so they are meant to fit roomier. I originally purchased my New Original Series in a 6.5, and while those are perfect with light hiking socks, they are a little too tight with my thick winter socks and can become uncomfortable after a couple hours of wear. I recently purchased a pair of the Original 500 Series half a size larger, and it was a great decision. I have literally worn them every single day since and they are per and I get just as many compliments from men and women alike on how good looking they are. 10/10!

Care: I haven't really taken care of my New Original Series boots. I have them in the Crazy Horse suede color, and even after months of adventuring and abuse, they look as good as the day I got them but with a little more character. However if you are interested in giving your Blundstones a spa day, their website has a ton of options on how to care for each type of leather, click on this link: https://www.blundstone.com/how-to-care-for-your-boots

Below is one of my favorite photos of the pair of New Original Series boots I have!

Adventure Worthy

This hat has withstood being crushed in duffel bags, high velocity winds (thank you adjustable cord), sand storms, 5 day backpacking trips, and being submerged in rivers all without losing its shape or structure. It runs on the large and warm side but I still love wearing this hat.

This is a picture of my boyfriend and I backpacking in the Uinta Wilderness for 4 days. I think we were on day 3 here and sitting front seat of the struggle bus. But we still cute.

I purchased this shirt in Pink, size medium (two sizes up from my usual size) after getting the men's version in white as a gift and loving it so much. I really didn't like the way this fit on me - the material is thinner than on the men's, and the chest/shoulder cut is way tighter. I really prefer a relaxed for for tees, both short and long sleeve, and this women's model does not do it for me. Even by going up two sizes it didn't have the right fit for me.

I received this shirt as a gift and I love it way more than I expected to! The poly-cotton blend is SO soft and nice on the skin, and it also helps the shirt flow. I have a men's Small which I think fits me well, but is just a little too long - I like to tie a knot on the side to give the shirt some more shape so its not a huge deal.

I definitely want more of these!

Bright and Durable

I already love these! What more can be said that hasn't already been said at least 100 times now? These have easily slotted themselves as my new adventure shorts - the bright peach sherbert color is so neat and stands out from all the earth tones in my closet, on top of being a durable DWR short that can handle anything from hot hikes to wet river floats to camping and everything in between!

I personally like a longer inseam for my shorts, so these OG Baggies are perfect for me. The high waist cut is super feminine without looking like a frumpy mom in the late 80's. If you wanna show more leg, opt for the Barely Baggies which has a shorter inseam. Definitely recommend a pair of these!

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I love these sandals! They go with everything in my wardrobe so I can wear them casual or dressed up. The black leather with light tan sole and white stitching is super eye catching too.

These did require a bit of a break in, but only 2 days of wearing them. I would say these run a little on the small side, so if you are in between sizes go up to the next whole size (I'm a US W 6.5, and purchased these in a US W 7).

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Height: 5' 2"

Size Purchased: 25

For years I have struggled with finding a jean that fits my legs, rear, and waist. If the jean fits my rear and legs, then 9/10 times the waist will be too big and I need a belt. The last pair of Free People jeans I tried had the same problem, and it could not really be fixed with a belt, so I returned them.

I read reviews that these Hi Slim pants ran small, so I decided to try them out and these fit PERFECTLY. There is no back gap at all and the high waist is super flattering to the female figure. The entire pant fits my body like a glove and they are so comfortable. I am between a size 24-25 and purchased a size 25 in these. I would say these do run on the slimmer side.

The one and only issue I have with these is that they are too long - our tech specs list the inseam is 27 inches, but I think that is really off from what it actually is. These have a raw hem cuff, so taking some length off would be easy but I'm too lazy for all of that and I just roll the cuffs up and call it a day.

Classy AF

Believe it or not, it does rain in Utah. We've had a wet spell the last few weeks and I'm so glad I have these boots to keep my feet dry and comfortable! The shortie style is sleek and plays up what would otherwise just be a clunky rainboot. These look good with everything and they're my go-to boot for when the weather turns wet.

Can't Get Enough

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

My boyfriend has 3 of these shirts and wears them for every sport we do outside in the sun. Climbing, skiing, hiking, mountain biking, whatever you want! The Polygiene coating prevents odor causing bacteria from sticking to the material of the shirt, so you can wear this for a few days at a time without a wash and not get super stinky. The UV protection is bullet-proof, and the hood adds another layer of protection to your neck.

Here's a picture of my boyfriend wearing it during a day of rock climbing in the sun! ( I am wearing the Black Diamond Alpenglow Hoody, another UPF shirt)

Loungin' in the Sun

I like this top - I didn't experience any of the issues mentioned in previous reviews, and I plan on keeping it. The cut and striped pattern is super cute and I don't find it to be sheer. This top does not offer any support, but it is a basic bikini top meant for lounging and casual swimming. If you want something for active use, this is not the top for you. I would also agree with previous comments and say that if you have a larger chest, this top may not be the most comfortable for you.

The only issue I've had is with the straps - they are kind of loose and can fall down my shoudlers, but I also have small shoulders and a generally small frame so this is an issue I have often. I wear a 32C and purchased this in a size Small. This is a low coverage top so while the straps may have fit better in XS, it would not have fit me in the chest.

Fit: True to size

I received these as a gift and initially, I wasn't super impressed. They look like fairly basic soft shorts and I didn't expect to be wearing them for more than "around the house" or yoga, but then I put them on and wow I love these! The band is actually high waist and figure flattering (especially for us shorter ladies). I LOVE the sky blue color so much - it brightens up the wardrobe and adds a pop of color to your outfit. The thickness is just right so you don't get bad panty lines (I would still recommend a seamless panty for these) or too hot. The waist band doesn't roll when you bend over, so they are great for working out too.

I'll definitely be wearing these all summer!

This bra is life changing. Seriously...buy this bra. Not only is it made from recycled polyester and rPET (recycled plastic bottles) but the support it has is amazing. It also fits well - I have small shoulders with a 32C cup so a lot of times I have trouble with bra straps falling off my shoulders. The straps on this bra are relaxed without being loose, while the band and chest region remain tight, sexy, and supportive.

The "petite" version of the Paloma bra is more cropped than the regular Paloma bra, otherwise they fit the same. I already have two! I like to wear the regular Paloma bra as a crop top with high waist shorts and a cardigan. So cute!
