I've always been a M in Patagonia underwear, so you'd think the swimsuit would be the same sizing. I knew the coverage was minimal, but it's either a thong, or covers half of a butt cheek. Hate it!

I love this sports bra. I have 3 of them now because I kept "saving" them to only wear on backpacking and climbing trips and would never wear them day to day. It's fantastic because it doesn't smell for backpacking. I tend to rotate two of these and I'll rinse it out and it usually dries overnight, or the next day on my pack. And even if I can't rinse it out, it doesn't smell bad for quite a few days! Super tight and supportive, although I wear a 32B, so I have a smaller chest, but it works absolutely perfectly for me. I like it for running/playing soccer as well.

I actually bought these through the Kickstarter, and wish I'd just waited and bought them on Backcountry. Soill has horrible customer service (unlike Backcountry, which is basically the best customer service ever.) I bought the same size as my Miuras - a 36.5, and couldn't get them on my feet. I'm now in a size 38.5 after sending them back twice. (And paying for to and from shipping from Soill each time.) The woman I spoke with also acted like I just didn't like my shoes aggressive enough and did the thing where better climbers put themselves on a pedestal over less experienced climbers - without even knowing my experience level. Eyeroll. I've been wearing Miuras for years. Now that I finally have the correct size, I like them for the gym. They're definitely a step down, so I don't think I'll switch from my Miuras for outdoor use, but I like having a more aggressive shoe for training as well, and they are definitely a step up from my old gym shoes.

These are my favorite trad climbing shoes. They are so comfortable I can wear them all day. They are great for cracks and for slab. Fantastic for long alpine routes! I never take them off. When I first started wearing them I wore them in the gym - don't make the same mistake! It wears the rubber out quickly, and is totally a waste for gym routes - I busted the toe in a couple of months! I'll drag them along if I want to do some gym cracks, but other than that I don't waste my awesome mythos rubber indoors!

Note that they stretch A TON. I end up downsizing 2 sizes! (With ZERO discomfort!!!)

I eventually gave up on my first pair, but now have 2 pairs that I've been switching between as I send them in for re-soles. :)

I LOVE La Sportiva. I have two pairs of Mythos that I rotate as one needs to get re-soled, and I am dying for some TC Pros and some Muiras to replace my 5.10 sport climbing shoes. I bought these because I was sick of wasting my good shoes in the gym and blowing through toes super quickly.

These may be a great shoe for a beginner because they may be durable, but they are SO slippery that I don't think I would even recommend them to a 5.9 climber. The Evolve Elektra works much better, is almost as durable - you just have to deal with them smelling awful. ;)

I was warming up bouldering in these and I just simply slipped off an easy V2. My foot just slipped out from under me. So then I tried to use them on top rope and had the same problem. I looked like I was trying to ice skate up the walls. And they absolutely DO NOT smear at all.

Super disappointed in these shoes. I didn't get them on Backcountry because I had blown through my 5.10s and wanted them immediately, but figured I'd review here because it's where I make most of my gear purchases, and wanted to warn others because I had looked at the reviews here and they didn't prepare me! These are SLIPPERY!!!

PS fit-wise, they're great. I didn't size down a full size like I usually do, I went with the size that was comfortable out of the box, and I think that will remain the right size.

I had the old version of this harness and used it for EVERYTHING. I took a small spill on my butt descending Mount Sill, and it snapped the webbing that holds the leg loops up, so I sent it in for warranty replacement. (Sidenote: Petzl customer service is AWESOME.) Unfortunately, they sent me this new version, which is not nearly as good as last year's. The sizing has changed, so I had to switch to XS, which means the gear loops are EVEN SMALLER. I know there isn't as much room for big loops, but they can be bigger than this. I'm really bummed. I use this harness for trad because it actually fits my waist small enough not to be uncomfortable, but now fitting my pro and retrieving it is hard. The new version actually does fit better, but it's definitely not as comfortable as the old one. Backcountry is still selling last years...so I may have to just buy one...or make a decision that I need a sturdier harness that won't snap so easily.

All in all, I'd recommend this harness for sport climbing or gym climbing, not for hanging belays or trad.
