Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought this harness for my husband who is just getting into climbing with me, and I have the female version and enjoy it. He's usually a M/L, and I followed other reviews, sized up and ordered an XL for him -- he says it fits great and he feels secure (an important thing as he's still getting over his fear of top-roping). I did notice on another site that reviewers talked about the harness not being breathable if you run hot and I don't know how it is for my husband (who runs hot), but mine certainly gets sweaty when I climb; just something to note. Otherwise, I think it's a great value and excellent harness for beginning climbers!

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 7"
Weight: 145 lbs
Size Purchased: Medium

I bought these with the 20% off code to use backpacking for Labor Day Weekend, and climbing in general (mostly indoor, some outdoor.) Basically, these pants are AMAZING. I had wanted the eggplant color but it was sold out so settled on the sage -- and now I wish I had both! I thought the pictures online made the sage look more gray, but they are definitely a sage color and lighter than the pics online. These pants are light, comfortable, stretchy, the rise is just high enough to nip in the waist and look flattering, and the length is perfect on me at 5'7" -- they hit just above the ankles, which was what I wanted. I typically wear a size 28 or 6 or M in pants, (28" waist, 39" hips) and went with the medium here -- the fit is perfect -- although with a backpack strapped on, I noticed that they were actually quite loose -- I might have been able to size down comfortably and might do so when I buy a second pair next spring (because I don't buy multiples usually but these are so good). I slipped in some mud during the trip but these washed and dried quickly enough with a good scrub in the creek -- nothing I couldn't handle.

Another bonus is that these pants look so good that they could definitely pass in a casual work environment! My best friend tried these pants on after I did and now wants a pair of her own...

Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Fit: True to size

I bought a pair of these years ago for my husband (then boyfriend) when I worked at another outdoor retailer and while that pair is still holding up after 7 years (!!), there was enough pilling, stains and overall wear that I went ahead and bought him another pair when these went on sale. He is between a 34-36 and luckily Prana sells these in 35 so the fit is great, and they're just so durable that I'm glad these are a staple style for Prana -- my husband loves them! We live a pretty casual lifestyle, and these get us through 98% of any summer activity we have going on, outdoors or around town.

I had ogled these climbing shoes since working at an outdoor retailer years ago, and when they finally went on sale for a period of time at Backcountry I pulled the trigger. I am an 8.5/9 and got a 39 -- the fit is just a bit snug which is perfect for climbing. I have only used them indoors so far but the grip is really good, I imagine they would do well outdoors as well (my friends are regular climbers and say this is a great all-around shoe). A great investment, especially for new-ish climbers!
