Familiarity: I've used it several times

A lot of day-hiking packs have no internal structure, but I am a fan of tensioned suspension-style back panels because it permits air flow around you and contours to the line of your back. This pack is really comfortable, feels very solidly made, and can definitely hold more than just a layer and some snacks.

I do wish it had a sternum whistle or DWR coating. I use the belt as a waistbelt for balance with the pack and not as a hipbelt for weight distribution -- it *will* jump up from your hips as you move, but I didn't mind. I got mine on sale and am very happy with it! For more details and thoughts, check out my longform review at gearbird.net

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I wouldn't pay full price for it, but I really enjoy my Suunto 3 as a sleek everyday-wear step tracker/exercise watch.

What I was looking for in my fitness smartwatch:
- Accurate time keeping (vivomove has been documented to not do this well) -- check
-Wrist-based heart monitor -- check
- Slim design (but no bedazzled rhinestones like so many women's watches seem to have!) - check
- Easy to read notifications -- check
- Step tracking -- check

Optional:
- GPS - requires your phone -- wouldve been nice but oh well
- Sleep analysis -- kind of bullshit looking compared to Fitbit but who knows what any of the sleep science means anyways?

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 7"
Weight: 120 lbs
Size Purchased: small

I wore this once climbing outside and within half a day had ripped two small holes in it where it brushed against the rock. The tank is really pretty and comfortable and I'm a recent Outdoor Research convert but I'm disappointed that this was marketed for climbing - it's not durable at all and would be better for running in hot weather. I regret wearing it out climbing brand new, wish I could return it :( 5'7.5

I prefer looser pants climbing and am plagued, as are many people who wear feminine clothing, by the absence of significant pockets in clothing. I was so excited to get these jogger style pants! I've taken these bouldering, gym leading, and trad climbing and they've been comfortable, stretchy, and the perfect length. People are surprised that they're men's pants when I tell them. Great pockets :) I do wish that the cargo pockets had zippers instead though, the buttons are kind of unwieldy. For reference, I normally wear a size 26/27 in pants but the 28 fits me great with an added waist cinch that is handy in certain situations. Lastly, a fair warning, my friend tried them on in a store and they made her look like she had a guy's crotch bulge so that is a possibility... but they're great for me!
