These are just consistently the best. So comfortable that I can wear them all day without pulling them off after each climb. Great rubber and soft leather. These aren't the most aggressive shoe, so I have my Miuras for edging. I will continue to buy these. I wear 37's in all my La Sportivas and a 7/7.5 street shoe.

These were my go to ski for the '14/'15 winter here in Utah. With a lack of snow, I spent most of the season cruising groomers and these skis did an awesome job carving and keeping stable at faster speeds.

This year, '15/'16, I set the new version up with Dynafit 2.0 Radicals and am using this as my backcountry set up. They are super lightweight and I have put them in a variety of snow conditions and have yet to be disappointed. I prefer a fatter ski for big pow days, but these are reliable in really every situation. This shape of ski, rocker-camber-rocker, is my favorite to ski in every day. These are super reactive and stable with the wood core.

The only drawback to these may be the chatter that can happen at faster speeds. It doesn't really worry me and I still feel in control, but the honeycomb tips do sometimes shake when you are hauling down groomers.
I'm 5'4", 130lbs. an advanced skier and I got these in the 162cm

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I changed over to the Gea RS after using a pair of BD Factor 130's for my first touring experiences. I was in misery with the Factors and have a black toenail to prove that. I have not even molded the liners on the Geas and they feel unbelievably comfortable. I have claimed to my friends many times that they feel like a sneaker. The walk mode is super flexible and makes skinning a breeze. They are lightweight and settings are super customizable. The vibram soles make boots packing easy and grip super well onto any terrain.

In regards to the skiing capability of the boots, my backcountry skiing has completely changed for the better. They are stiff enough to resemble a traditional alpine boot and give me the support to make sharp turns and get around obstacles at speed. I have skied them in bounds at Alta and really didn't feel like I compromised my skiing at all. These are well worth the money and I plan to have them for seasons to come.

Sizewise, I wear a 7/7.5 street shoe and my Salomon Quest alpine boots are a 23.5. Scarpa changes their size on the half size so when I tried the 23.5 on in the Geas, I had a lot more room than I wanted, especially because once the liner in molded you gain some room. I sized down to the 23's in order to have the smaller shell.

These shoes seems to be working really well for me. Its my first aggressive shoe after I busted through the toe of my Mythos and wanted something a bit stiffer for edging. I'm really excited about these shoes and feel like I can put a lot of trust in them. My only issue has been with a pain full break in and sizing wise. My Mythos fit like a glove and were a size 37. I wear a size 7-7.5 street shoe and after reading reviews bought a 36.5 in these. They were far to tight and I ended up sticking with a 37 in these as well. I'd recommend these for someone with a fairly high arch and narrow foot. Its a slim toe box, so don't get these if you have wider feet.

I didn't really know what to expect with this stuff, but I was pleasantly surprised. It took all the dirt and sweat off my mat and actually made my mat feel brand new again. Highly recommend especially if you are like me and do not clean your mat very often. The smell is natural and doesn't linger.

I cannot say enough good things about these pants. They are super warm and feel like I'm wearing fleece sweatpants when I put them on. On camping trips I usually end up wearing leggings and freezing the entire time. These are flattering and super warm. Windproof and water resistant, these pants are really practical for all sorts of endeavors. They have some stretch to them so I definitely plan to hike and climb in them. I usually wear a medium in Prana but went down to a size 6 in these as per reading other reviews. They seem to run a little big. Buy these pants!

Way better for keeping skins sticky than sticking them to themselves and much easier than the plastic factory film that comes with the G3 skins. Only complaint is really that I think G3 should include these with the sale of their skins. I don't think these should cost as much as they do. Seems like a way for G3 to just get more money out of you.

I recently purchased the Hestra 3 finger gloves. They are the warmest gloves that I have ever had. I have used them for skiing and being a spectator at the US Freestyle Dual mogul event – my hands were comfortably warm for both activities. I was worried about these gloves being too warm but do not believe that will be an issue from my first few days of wearing. I really like the ease of putting my hands into my ski poles that these gloves provide better than mittens. I like the straps that the gloves have that allow me to take my mitten off while on a chairlift or when doing things barehanded avoiding the risk of accidentally dropping a glove. The size fitting seemed true to the size chart from Backcountry.com. These gloves are great – I wish I would have bought these years ago.

These ptex sticks filled in all my core shots from early season Alta skiing. They are easy to use and fill in really well. My skis feel brand new again after using these, an edge sharpen and a clean wax job. My friend is using these sticks in an attempt to get flatten out his fish scale skis, which seems to be working.

Best skins ever! Little to no slippage on all types of snow and terrain-- measuring and cutting them was a breeze with the nifty little tool they came with. Would definitely recommend these for anyone looking for quality skins that last a long time.

After stealing my mom's Patagonia down vest for as long as I could before she noticed, I finally broke down and bought one of my own. I wear this thing most days of the week. I normally wear a medium and this medium is a perfect fit. Not too tight, but not bulky at all. Its super warm and feels like I'm in my down jacket all day without it getting in the way. I wear this on warmer days skiing under my shell and on winter hikes. This down vest is the most flattering one I have tried on and I really recommend buying it.

I finally decided it was time to add the GriGri to my belay device collection. It is particularly awesome for gym climbing but works great for single pitch sport climbing outside as well. It definitely takes a learning curve using this, so I'd recommend using it with someone who is very familiar with it before you go off on your own.

I feel much more confident belaying dudes who have 30 pounds on me and don't worry about decking out. I'd definitely recommend buying a GriGri once you have a good amount of belaying experience under your belt.

I got these to replace my old walking Yak Trax and am very happy I did. They work a lot better than the original pair I had; the velcro band that goes over top of foot makes it so you don't end up back at your car with only one left on my shoes. Good for hiking trails in the winter and wherever you need to walk on ice.

I wear a size 7 womens shoe and got these in a small. They are a tight fit on my winter trail shoes and if you are getting these for bulkier boots, I'd go up a size.

The bra itself is great, I love the fit and the soft feel of the merino wool. The best part of the merino wool is the days you can go without having any smell whatsoever. My only complaint as mentioned in other reviews, are the straps. They aren't very comfortable. They are made with tradition bra strap material. Its fairly stiff and can dig in. I don't think I would buy this again unless they change the strap construction.

Although I hope to never have to use these in a real scenario, I am confident that they will do their job. The probe is easy to put together and comes in a separate case. The shovel breaks apart and fits perfectly into my Osprey Kode backpack. The beacon is super simple and easy to use. This is a great beginner package for those people starting their backcountry skiing hobby.
