Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Everything works well! Always nice to see other people using and trusting the same gear that you have, specifically the shovel and probe. The beacon is new and looks and performs similarly to the tracker three but with less features. As a beginner in backcountry terrain I bought the TS thinking that it will slowly take the tracker 2's place in the market and I dont have a specific need for the advanced features of the Tracker3.
Overall a great package!

Height: 6' 1"
Weight: 185 lbs
Size Purchased: Large

Got this jacket to replace my Beta AR and its done a great job. Not quite as bomber as the triple layer Beta but the fit is longer at the waist and feels much more packable. The jacket is decked out with great pockets and has a nice cut for climbing and layering while not feeling too baggy. Sheds water and wind very well and for a great price.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

Lack of support on the back panel makes for an often uncomfortable carry. Carrying a rope is far less than ideal. The main lid buckle slides and does not cinch tight without sliding after only couple months of use. Half of the waist buckle disappeared into the snow after setting the pack down for a break. Ice tool securing system is sub par, maybe too lightweight, my tools rattle around more than i'd like. Will be replacing when i get a chance.

These are the first set of nuts I've purchased so I don't have much to compare it to, but so far I've put them to good use! Everything you could expect from a basic chock and a little bit lighter weight. Little bit of an arc to get some camming action in placements, i really like them because I can beat up on them and not think twice about it. Con is that they have trouble setting in any sort of flare so I have been considering a set of offsets to back them up and give me some peace of mind.
