We ordered the small (7/8) for my 2nd grader who normally wears a size 7. She is slim and somewhat small for her age (almost 8), and this fits her perfectly. I would recommend sizing up if you’re in-between sizes or on the larger end of a size range.
We got the Fig - which is actually a deep plum color (I couldn’t tell from the pictures online). It looks better in person than online! It’s very soft and not too bulky. It kept her toasty warm in some drizzly, breezy, 45 degree weather. She loves it and says it reminds her of something Anna or Elsa would wear (Frozen).

Runs true to size. My 7 year old loves this coat because it isn’t too heavy but keeps her toasty warm outside on the playground. It is long enough to cover her backside with length to spare. The hood stays up, but doesn’t cover her eyes. It also looks great, even after some soild use. I spot cleaned a couple areas and it came clean easily. Fits into her locker nicely, not too bulky.

I love these boots! I used them right away in a couple inches of fluffy freshly-fallen snow and 15 degree weather and my feet were warm and dry. They fit great with a regular pair of socks. I think if you want to wear them with really thick socks, you should size up a half size. I bought my regular size and they fit true to size. They are fairly light and were comfortable right away. I used them in Minnesota, on un-maintained trails, so not mountain conditions, but they did well in snow and cold temps!

I’m typically a M in North Face, however, I should have gotten a small in this jacket. Pros: It is very cozy and mine doesn’t shed. The green color is flattering. Pockets are deep. Lots of room to layer.
Cons: This jackets is rather shapeless, even for a North face fleece.

My kids each have one of these jackets and they are always their first pick when they're leaving the house. I don't think that they're overly puffy at all. They're pretty slim, fits great in lockers, keep the kids warm down to about 15-20 degrees in the snow. We travel with these and they're super easy to throw into carry on bags or suitcases. Cuffs on the sleeves aren't too tight. We have the midnight color with pink trim and it looks great after a ton of wear. We will be buying more of these in the future, as the kids grow!

I've gotten a ton of use out of these this winter. In -20 actual temps, I had to run outside for 5 minutes. I didn't even put on socks, went walking in calf deep snow and couldn't even feel the cold through these. They were comfortable on several 2 mile hikes through snow. I can also wear them running errands not feel like i'm clomping around. Easy to put on and off. Another win from Sorel!
I am usually a 9 or a 9.5 but I am a solid 9.5 in these, especially when wearing warm socks.

I put these to use as soon as they arrived. I am normally a 6/8 in pants. I size up to a L, (10/12) so that I could layer. These fit comfortably with a pair of thermal leggings underneath. There is no way a M would have fit! I am 5'5 and about 150lbs. I've had issues with the rise being too short on snow pants but these were fine. If you're much taller than 5'5, I would get the longs. I debated sending back the regular and getting a long, but I really only needed an extra half inch so the "L" would have been TOO long.
I used them hiking through some frozen wetlands and woods. They held up great. I'm looking forward to using them more!

Great sweatshirt/fleece. Looks smarter and more slim than either a fleece or a sweatshirt though. It has held up well over washes and did not shrink. I've used this alone and over a base layer. It layers well with thinner shirts underneath. Not too boxy. I usually by M's in Patagonia and this M fit me great.

My 8 year old loves this fleece. It's easy for him to get on and off at school, fits under his life jacket and holds up well in the wash. It's warm enough to be an outer layer in the MN fall and is a great layer in the winter. He is between an 8 and a 10. We bought a size 10 and it fits great, the 8 would have been way to small. Size up if you're on the fence.

I bought this in the whitish-gray color and it's fantastic. I was tired of my current fleeces and wanted something different. The collar on this fleece is perfect and very high (love it). It stays standing, even after washing. It also hasn't shed on me. It has enough shape to it that it is flattering and not boxy, but it is also roomy and easy to layer. I'll be buying other colors.

I bought these pants for a spring hiking trip in the Tetons. They worked great in the varying temperatures and conditions. The pockets are deep and useful. The back is a large elastic panel that does look a bit maternity but it keeps them where they are supposed to be. The panel fleecey and does get a little warm in warmer conditions. The only draw back with the adjustable length legs is that I have to be creative with the drawstrings or they'll dangle around my ankles (tickles) while hiking. I just tie them in a knot.
I wear a 28" jean and the M fits me well. I am 5'5 and about 140. The back of these pants will also show "panty lines" if you're not careful.
We live in MN and have been working on fixing up a large area of our property. These pants are my go-to for any lawn work. They dry quickly, are very durable and wash up great. I've seriously put these pants through it all and they are fantastic. Even my husband loves them!
