Weight: 205 lbs

I want to preface this review by saying I bought these gloves for my buddy Nate, and here are his initial impressions.

He bought the Mediums in the Rasta color option.
He said that they do run a little large.

Here is a quote from him on them,
"The material is quite stretchy and comfortable on your hand. I was excited when I received the gloves, but ultimately had to return them because the fingers were too long. I went against my instincts and ordered a size larger than usual based off of the size chart."

I gave this as a gift, and have gotten some feedback, but I figured I'd throw up a link to a helpful youtube video as well, that will definitely give you some good info on this product.
MY gift recipient is super stoked on this product, and says that it has helped her to become more active, and even subconsciously motivated her to continue to hit the gym, or go for runs, and hikes.

Here is that link to that helpful youtube video:

I got the Black/White/Silver, L/110mm and I was gunna mount them on my DPS Wailer 112RP Tour 1's, however I opted to return them, and swap them out for the kingpin to cut down on weight and try and crush the uphill on tours.

So I only got initial impressions of them, but I did order a second pair after receiving my first, they were awesome, looked burly and high performing for the downhill, definitely was gunna be a sturdy, elastic binding, that would handle drops and gnarly terrain with grace.
I was stoked on them.
I found this youtube video that has some helpful info on them, feel free to copy and paste the url, and give it a watch, if your interested. By no means am I trying to claim this video as my own, just thought it was a well made video. Video made by Basin Sports out of Killington, VT.

This is a jacket I got as a present for my mom's boyfriend.

Here is his review:
This jacket is a classic. Well designed, good quality and very versatile. Its not too bulky and hot to wear while driving but it’s also good for most outdoor conditions except serious cold and storms.
The size is as expected, fits well and is very comfortable. Similar North Face jackets I’ve owned have worn well and I expect to be wearing this for a number of years.

I bought this jacket for my mom.

Her is her review:
I’m very pleased with this jacket. North Face’s quality is consistently very reliable.
The fleece is soft yet insulating. The jacket is not too bulky yet it copes with all but the coldest conditions.
This isn’t the first Dinali jacket I’ve owned but the first time I’ve had the hooded version and I’m expecting to wear it for a very long time.

I am a big fan of Patagonia gear in general, but this is an awesome backpack, either great for a short day hike or something like that. Also nice trendy bag that you could wear around campus, or a quick business trip, I got no complaints on this guy.

Here is a lil youtube video, I am by no means trying to claim any of the content as my own, I just thought it was a helpful review.

I picked up the Black/Gold, 100-125mm.

Here is a youtube video of the MArker Kingpin User Tips, which I figured would be a good way of describing the different dynamics and intricacies of the binding.

Marker Lord SP Ski Binding
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I got the Black/White/Teal, 90mm.
I only have initial impressions of this beauty, but so far I really like it, first off it is a very clean binding, as far as looks care concerned.
I have these set up on the DPS Cassiar P95, 185 cm, Pure 3 (Granada Green).
This boot is a pretty special one out on the market right now because it is accommodates both AT, and Alpine boots safely. Definitely a nice tool to have in your quiver. The burly, made-for-ripping Triple Pivot Elite toe features a pin system that you adjust for AT or alpine boots, which
helps makes the touring versus hitting the resort decision a little more manageable. Plus a lot of skiers these days are moving towards wearing touring boots a lot more frequently because of how comfortable they are, so to have a binding in your quiver that'll allow you to do that is a nice perk.
Definitely another burly binding made by Marker, got a wide range of Din settings on there, so you can mix it up.
Here is a little youtube review made by Basin Sports out of Killington, VT. By no means do I mean to steal any of the video content here, or claim it as my own, just thought it was a helpful video.

These + Moment Chipotle Bananas
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

So the Jester Pro's they don't lie when they say this is a hard charging burly binding, it is definitely a fun one, that allows you to have a pretty high, and variety of different din settings.

The power transmission is no joke on these boys, no matter the terrain you throw at it, if your charging deep and steep, it is super responsive.

The Triple Pivot Elite toe and Inter-Pivot heel provide enough flexibility to keep you locked in while maintaining your fluid skiing style. The binding is manufactured to handle all sorts of terrain and is designed for high levels of energy absorption preventing some double ejectors, and will handle some sketchy situations.

I'd say this binding is a great buy, and looks pretty awesome with the Moment Chipotle Bananas.

I also threw up a youtube vid: Marker Jester vs. Marker Jester Pro Ski Binding Comparison and Review, via youtube. by no means do I mean to take that video as my own, just as some helpful info on the 2 bindings.

So I got the Sriracha Cuzco/Green Sol-X Mirror/Red Sensor Mirror, One Size, and absolutely love them!
As well as the Black/Blackout/Yellow Sensor Mirror, One Size, and those are super sick too!

Super cool look, and good range of visibility, it isn't like other goggles that sometime block a little bit of peripheral vision, this goggle gives you full range of vision.

It comes with two lens, one for darker, overcast, storm days. The other lens will be for bluebird days, and the bag it comes with is a certified lens cleaner.

Changing the lens on the goggles isn't exactly the easiest lens to change out the first time I had to to do it it took me like 5 minutes, but after some practice the process had become more fluid. The thing is the frame itself has these slots, specific for each side of the lens, and it is a little bit finicky to get it to fit super flush.

Overall great product, I'm stoked on both of mine, and they go super well with the Smith Vantage helmet.

Great Buy!

Fit: True to size
Height: 6' 3"
Weight: 205 lbs
Size Purchased: XXL

So i bought this as a gift for my mom's boyfriend, who is a bit of a larger guy, but he is working on that. He says he loves the material, and that it is extremely comfortable. It is a great casual garment, very nice to have on while sitting near a fire, or around a campfire.
He says that it fits him quite well, he is roughly 6 foot 1 and around 250 plus (I'm guessing) I got him an XXL, which was a recommendation to me.
But great shirt, and definitely is nice comfy casual wear as well as a nice warm layer to have on short camping or rafting trips.

Again read the review before looking at the height and weight dimensions I have listed below.

I do like this backpack the construction of it is very nice and pretty form fitting.
My one hesitation about it is that it doesn't have side pockets or slides to store water bottles. I'd say that it is a pretty nice business casual backapck, or a around town or running to class backpack. It definitely serves it purpose, but if you were looking to use it for running around in the mountains or hiking it is possible, but just not super practical without those side sleeves for water bottles.

I picked this up this year for the ski season here in Utah. So far so good! This jacket is a shell more than an insulating layer. I have always skied with layers so it works quite well for that, and I would say that it runs true to size, however I am one of those skiers who likes things to hang loose (however not too loose, not like one of those baggy park skiers). I think Patagonia uses some very high quality fabrics in their garments, and they definitely serve their purpose.
This jacket has some great large pockets in the front on either side, and then a great goggle carrying pocket on the inside which I love because I ski with a hat quite frequently (I know I am sorry) but when I put my goggles on my hat they fog up quite quickly, so the goggle pocket is key for me.
This jacket is super nice and durable so far I've put over 15 days in with it, and haven't seen any wear or tear, and I ski all over the mountain as well as the backcountry.
I would definitely recommend this jacket to friends and family.
My one hesitation about it is that it isn't an insulating layer and doesn't have the thumb holes with a light liner like a lot of my previous jackets, but so far so good, and I am excited to keep using it in the future.

So I bought this jacket as a gift for my sister's boyfriend, and I have had several myself over the years.
It is a phenomenal purchase, works great for layering systems as well as an outer layer on warmer ski days. I love the aspect of the hood, especially if I am camping and don't have other layers with a hood, that really helps retain body heat in winter camping settings.
I found that it runs true to size, and that it depends if you want it to be a mid layer or a base layer, so depending on your layering system the size you are looking for could vary.
This jacket is also great for casual wear around town and everything like that, it is one of those trendy items out on the market right now as well. But if you are looking to use it in the backcountry it definitely serves that purpose as well!
It is quite warm for a puffy, but over time if you wash it too frequently the down looses some of its heating properties, so be aware of that.

I am very happy with this jacket, I gave it as a gift to my mother!

Typical of Patagonia, made from very high material fabric. It's surprisingly warm for the thickness and the collar's good against the wind without giving the feeling of being too tight or restrictive.
Overall a very nice jacket.

Here are my moms dimensions (i'm guessing)- so for weight and height please don't quote me

First off having a bag that is 209cm compatible is ahuge help for me, I am roughly 6 foot 3 or 6 foot 4 so I have fairly large skis, and this bag works great for that.
It is very spacious I put two pairs of skis as well as a helmet and some other garments of clothing in their just in case the baggage attendants handled them pretty roughly, but I saw no issues at all.
The bottom of the bag is padded, and there are several different handles, which is convenient for travelling and carrying.
The material seems to be very durable and all of the carrying handles are padded, so that is an added bonus, which I prefer especially for travelling in cold .
I would highly recommend this ski bag to anyone I knew!

I’m very happy with these Sorel boots. They arrived quickly and in excellent condition. The craftsmanship is of high quality. The transition from sole to upper is seamless on the interior. And well finished on the outside. The sole is robust and should stand up to all kinds of weathers.

My mom wears a size 8.5. She loves the boots and uses them primarily in the winter. She doesn't use them for anything much more adventurous than shoveling the front steps, as well as walking around town in the snow, or from the car to church on Sundays.

Super lightweight, with great stitching, which helps for both wind and rain resistance.
Works really good for layering systems, also I lie the front pocket a lot, which is super functional. I can store my map and compass in there, as well as other items that I'd want to have while on trail, or for short breaks.
It's a great layer, and pretty stylish, which is always a plus to have in the backcountry.
You know want to look good so you can feel good, and perform good!
GREAT jacket for the price point.
Super durable.

Fits just slightly larger than normal, but I wouldn't say it runs large.

Love this helmet, it is very light weight, and depending on your helmet size there is room for a beanie underneath, which I know a lot of skiers and boarders like to do, myself included. There are pockets in the ear pieces for chips, if your into that, or you can put your ear buds in their if you'd like, they are zippered pockets, so no worry in having your earbuds fall out.

I'd say go for it, if you are on the fence about it!

This is a super sweet goggle made by Oakley, it is super easy to exchange the lens in them, which is always a nice feature to have. The strap is adjustable so it fits a wide variety of hats & helmets. It comes with a backup lens which helps with variable light conditions. I got a clear lens as my backup lens, which is great for flat light, like we've been having at Alta recently.

I really like the design of the frame, which aids in the defogging process, which is super important to me. That F3 Fog technology really does work well. I had my goggles barely fog up one time at Snowbird, and then within a matter of seconds! I am not sure how the technology works exactly, but I can attest to it actually working .

If your interested in this goggle, I'd say go for it! It's a rad looking goggle.
