Born in Louisiana, grew up in Boise, Idaho and moved out to Salt Lake City in 2008 to study accounting at the University of Utah and to play in the mountains.
In the winter I am skiing as much as possible, mostly at Snowbird, and occasionally find myself on the dark side (Alta). Skiing has taken me to some amazing places over the years and it's one of my biggest passions. But you can't ski year round (at least I can't). So I'm always ready to throw down my skis and get on the mountain bike when spring comes. Backpacking and camping anywhere from the desert to the mountains, the occasional climb, and U of U campus longboard laps are other things you may find me doing.
I’d love to answer your gear related questions. If you want to talk about any type of skiing, backpacking, skateboarding, or anything, please hit me up on Live Chat! Just request me when you chat in. I am on there Sunday/Monday (1:30-10pm) and Tuesday/Wednesday (6am-2:30pm) MST.

Deep water soloing in Thailand
I recently took this pic of my friend Zach. Because you have to swim, climb up some rocks to a small ledge, then jump/fall off back into the water, I couldn't have got this photo without the lifeproof case!

These came in quite handy when we found ourselves in a dark cave with plenty of hands and knees crawling required
Who backpacks eggs into the desert?
It's all been said, so here's a photo
Wash your tech shell with this stuff, machine dry it on a warm temperature and it'll be back beading water off like it was new. It is good for your technical shell's waterproofing and breathability, to fairly consistently wash them, and like it says int he description, you don't want to use regular clothing detergents because they can clog up the membrane.
If you want a very stiff boot with a super natural feeling flex, this is the boot for you. They are very comfortable after you heat mold the liner. I wear 10.5 street shoe and wear 27.5 in this boot.

Works well and is comfortable, which ever style you like
I got these to use on my Armada JJ's and they work very well. I have them on G3 Alpinists, but will work with Black Diamond skins also. Highly recommended.
The Hero4 is awesome, but GoPro's don't have the greatest battery life.
Buy a couple of these, go to a desert canyon, and try a long Night Lapse of some stars with your Hero4.
Just having a little fun at Snowbird
