Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 1"
Weight: 110 lbs
Size Purchased: XS

I live in Southern Arizona where the temperatures range from 10F to 105F. This jacket has become my favorite for a number of activities. I've worn it casually (it has a lovely shape and a clean style), hiking, backpacking, and horseback riding. I love that it packs up so small I can fit it in a hydration pack or even a small purse. It cuts the wind really well and sheds rain beautifully too. It's listed as a Trim Fit, but will fit over a sweater or thick shirt well. It is not a winter coat, but works well as a mid layer in cold weather, or as the perfect outer layer for high activity in cold weather. The curved hem on the sleeves is a really nice touch as it covers the back of your hand nicely. The fabric is resistant to dirt and liquids and launders really well. I am short, with an athletic build, wear a 36B bra, and the XS fits perfectly with room in the pockets for my iPhone 8 Plus. The pockets are set high enough to not interfere with the waist belt on my hydration pack or backpack. I purchased the Astral Aura which is a beautiful dark-ish purple on the blue side.

I have the Phasic in the color Petrikor. The color looks unattractive to me until I pair it with jeans, then it looks great. I live in Southern Arizona and spend all my weekend time outside. This shirt is a fabulous alternative to bathing in sunscreen which collects the dust like a magnet does iron. I am ultimately cooler and cleaner in this shirt than I am wearing sunscreen and a short sleeve shirt. I have worn it all day in 80 degree heat with no problem. It would be too warm in the 90's and 100's without wetting it to experience evaporative cooling. I have very short hair and the hood is wonderful for protecting my neck and ears from sunburn. The fit is loose, not clingy, and true to size. I am 5'1", 110lbs, and wear a 36B bra.

This vest is actually feather light and provides amazing warmth for its weight. It is perfect for a 10 degree drop from your comfort zone, particularly if you are being a little active. I have used it hiking, horseback riding, and in the office. It cuts the wind well and packs up really small. I haven't had the opportunity to try it in the drizzle or rain as I live in southern Arizona, but, the dust wipes off easily with a damp cloth even in very dry static filled weather. I was even able to wipe off some melted chocolate without laundering! Laundering definitely returns it to its original state though. The pockets are big enough to hold my iPhone 8 Plus and although it is a Trim Fit, it is not so tight that my phone is visible in the pocket. The pockets are at a perfect height above my backpack and hydration pack hipbelts. I found the vest to be true to size (I have the Atom SL Hooded Jacket, Atom LT Vest, Phasic Sun Hoody, and Yonge Wrap all in XS). I am 5'1", 110lbs, and wear a 36B bra. I have broad shoulders and significant lats and found the arm holes to be sized comfortably yet close to my body. The style is very clean and classic; better looking than on the Arc'teryx website in my opinion. I ordered Black Sapphire which is a beautiful navy blue.

I wanted this pack to work for me! My husband has the Manta 36L and after trying it on several times I wanted a day-pack with the Anti-Gravity (AG) system. This pack can carry an amazing amount of stuff while feeling super light due to the AG system. It didn't work for me because I will not always be carrying a bunch of weight in the pack. I intended, on the light-weight end to be carrying lightweight rain gear (top and bottom), a full hydration bladder, lunch, a warm jacket, and a camera. With only that much stuff in the pack (I have the exact same bladder from another pack and used it filled to test with) the hip belt kept riding up to my waist while wandering around my house. When I added another 10-15lbs the pack stayed where it is supposed to. If you intend to use it with only a light load, test it before heading out on your journey. I didn't try the smaller sized Mira AG 26L because I read a review on the Osprey website that said that the pack rode up. Also, when my husband purchased the Manta AG 36L he also tried the Manta AG 28L. The AG system on the 28L had a significantly smaller waist, the portion directly above the hip belt, that was uncomfortably tight on him and on me - we are both small, thin people (he wears pants with a 28" waist). Both Manta packs he tried were sized S/M and I tried the XS/S, the same size as my Osprey Kyte 46L.

This is super jazzed up oatmeal! You won't need any sweeteners, but it is not too sweet. Blueberries and walnuts add lots of interest to what would otherwise be a rather plain breakfast. Even though it is sold as a single serving, two women ate one package and felt plenty full and fueled for the day's activities. I am buying more :-D

I love the idea of this diffuser case! However, it did not work for either of my Petzl headlamps: Reactik and Zipka. Without a band the Zipka just rattles around in the case and you would have to stuff something small under it to keep it in the diffuser. The Reactik fit well, but the face that produces light is angled such that it cannot shine straight up into the diffuser and I could not access the on/off switch easily. Too bad as the case seems really well made.

My straw lid does not leak and does not suck air. I read lots of reviews prior to purchasing and the ones that reported trouble, on the Hydroflask website, were responded to by the Hydroflask folk. Just let them know and they will provide you with a new improved one :-) It sure is LOTS easier to drink from the straw lid than directly from the bottle while driving, walking, or moving at all. I found that when my bottle, full of COLD liquid, is on it's side that it will collect condensation. That does not happen with the normal lid. So, I am assuming that it is not as good an insulator as the normal lid. No problem for me as I drink all my liquid prior to it getting warm anyway. That said, even with the straw lid, I have had liquid stay cold for more than eight hours in 90F heat.

I'm not a huge fan of fleece even though it is warm due to the trouble I have keeping it clean - two cats, horses, static in the dry AZ weather. However, this is the nicest fleece piece I have ever owned. The outer surface is smooth so it doesn't collect as much debris. The inner fleece is very, very short pile almost like an extremely light-weight velvet making it a lovely weight for an office sweater. The style is fabulous!!! Love the cross-over front which adds to the warmth and the stand-up collar which keeps the drafts off. The length is fairly short in the back so it is not the bum covering sort. The sleeves are long enough on me that I can pull them down to completely cover my hands if desired. There are two buttons that hold it closed, one for the inner flap and one for the outer, both at the bottom of my arm pit. The fabric sticks to itself enough that the front does not tend to open on its own in any activity. I ordered according to the size chart first and returned it for one size smaller which fits perfectly. I purchased this in the black color, but it is really a dark heather grey - very versatile color! The price is high, as with all Arc'teryx products. But, the quality is high and with a lifetime warranty if you have the money BUY IT!
