BD makes some of the best adjustable poles in the market. The Black Diamond Razor Carbon Pro Ski Poles do everything that you want a pole to do. The only complaint is that this pole is slightly heavier than the pure carbon from a couple of years ago as it uses an aluminum upper shaft rather than carbon. Still, it gets the job done.

These jeans are great. They stretch to move with you and are very durable. I have a pair from a couple years ago that have worn very well. You are not going to go wrong with these pants.

The Amaran was a great replacement for my Fortrez fleece that I had used for years. The Amaran is a little thinner, but just as warm. The fit is slim and works as a midlayer on the Hill or jacket in the office.

The intuition pro tour liners will lighten up any AT Boot. They are easy to mold at home with a sock filled with rice and don’t pack out after a couple days of skiing. Well worth the purchase.

The Arc'teryx RHO LT Boot Cut bottoms are super warm and work great as a ski base layer. The Boot cut prevents the bottoms from going in your boots. My only gripe is that they fit larger than I want. I have a pair from two years ago that fit a little better so I was hoping these would be the same.

This is the second Arc’teryx Tantalus that I have purchased. I use this jacket for days in the Backcountry. It’s not as light and thin as other high output jackets, but works day in and day out exactly how I want it to work. It has higher abrasion materials on the shoulders which helps prevent wear and tear when wearing a pack. This is one of the most underrated shells that Arc’teryx makes and lasts a long time.

This is the best base layer on the market. I have now purchased multiple sets of the Rho LT and use it for cold weather running, skiing, and any activity where I am sweating and it’s cold. You are seriously not going to go wrong here.

I got the Hawx Ultra XTD 130 AT Boot for my touring adventures this winter. The fit is low volume which is great for me as I have a narrow foot with a low instep. The Boot is surprisingly light and stiff. Usually with a Boot at this weight you sacrifice performance, however this is the closest I have gotten to skiing in an alpine boot without sacrificing range of motion. The uphill performance is amazing, and the downhill performance is just as good. You seriously cannot go wrong with this Boot.

I bought this jacket for our Brittany. He his a high energy dog who runs at full speed everywhere. When I take him running he spends 10% of his time on the trail and the rest running through the woods. Oftentimes when we get home I have to trim burrs out of his fur and sometimes clean up scratches or cuts. I had to get something that gave him some protection so that he can still do his thing in the woods. The Cloud Chaser does everything that I need it to do. Keeps him clean, and prevents scratches from running in the woods.

If you are looking for a lightweight higher retention AT binding, look no further than the FT 2.0 from Dynafit. Dynafit is well known for their quality in bindings and this one is no different. As the original Tech binding manufacturer they know what they are doing and it shows in the FT 2.0. The Tech toe allows for awesome uphill performance and the higher rention allows for high speed descents.

The Svalbard wool jacket is the perfect jacket to wear around town or in the office. It is super warm, fits amazing (slim with a long torso), and looks good. If you haven’t heard of Norrona, check them out. The quality and craftsmanship matches up to the best in the outdoor industry and their products work well and last long. The Svalbard is no different.
