Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 8"
Weight: 140 lbs
Size Purchased: 8.5

I can't write about how this shoe performs, because I had to return it right after I took it out of the box. I ordered same size as my street shoe size (41.5 or 8.5) as many recommended and I can feel hot spots all over my front knuckles. It isn't as tall in the toe box as La Sportive Genius or Solutions, but similar in width. I exchanged it for a pair of La Sportiva Genius, 39.5 and did not feel any hot spots even though my toes are curled and it is very tight - I could live with that. I have a feeling the Acros would have eventually broke in after 3 months or so, but I would have been in pain for 3 months and probably end up with some irreversible big toe condition.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: Runs large

I bought these half size smaller than my regular street shoes and I think that's spot on advice. I have wide feet that are not too tapered, the toe box is about the same as the LaSportiva Solutions. Toe box is just as tall as the Solutions, but not as pointy, which is why I bought these. They are not as downturned as I had hoped, but it's not really affecting my projects too much. I got my first V7 in these, not sure if these shoes had anything to do with that? They don't really stretch, my right foot which is slightly bigger than my left foot is still difficult to get on, I'm pulling really hard on the loopholes to get my heel in. My left foot fits perfectly. I get the nice "suction" sound when I put these on. I've been climbing in these for the last 3 weeks and I really like them. The zenith rubber is soft and tacky. Heel is not as narrow as I hoped but hasn't affected my heel hooks. Great looking pair of shoes too!
Update after 3 months of use: My big toe is getting messed up morphologically because this shoe has not stretched at all and I'm no longer wearing this because it's too painful and not worth the permanent damage it will do to my feet, switched to much more comfortable La Sportiva Genius

If you like the Solutions because they have nice wide toe box, be aware that these Katanas have a narrower toe box. I have both in 40.5 and the Solutions are way more comfortable for my feet. If you buy these, don't size down like you normally do with other La Sportiva downturned shoes. The rubber on the tips of the toes wear out quickly too, especially if you don't have good footwork. Heel is narrower than Solutions, which is good for people with narrow heels. Yes, it does edge and smear very well. It's fine for bouldering steep routes too because it does have a slight downturn.
