Familiarity: I've used it several times

The outdry technology is very real and very effective; perfect for short alpine/mountaineering outings. It also seems to add a layer of durability for summer climbing trips.

There are secret daisy loops that line each side of the outside helmet/soft compartment that I didn't anticipate. The ice-axe loops work perfectly. The hip belt pockets are not really meant to put anything firm in, but that's because it's a climbing pack and you need to tuck them back - which is a necessary feature.

Also, another feature I enjoy is being able to remove the top pocket altogether, and just rely on the roll top.

Overall, one of the better Mountain Hardwear products I've had the pleasure of working with. I purchased the Stone Green color and it's quite pleasing!

The gloves are great - truly designed for the purpose. That said, why in the world would you stitch this dense of a logo RIGHT ON TOP OF YOUR KNUCKLE? It's not an issue if you don't wear over-gloves (shell). If you put on a shell glove, the logo pushes into your knuckle when you bend your fingers (i.e. being "active"). This issue is much worse when pairing with a Mountain Hardwear shell, because those shells also put the same logo in the same spot, further putting pressure on your knuckle. Great product ruined by logo placement. If the logo was just a sticker of sorts, it'd be fine - but the fact it's a thick, stitched logo, makes it worse.
