I was a little skeptical about this item but I wanted to try it on my clinchers. The thought of a 5 minute tire fixture versus 30 minutes replacing a tube was a no-brainer. I wanted to give it a shot. So, my back Vittoria tire and Conti tube flated and I put it to the test. The installation went well and it was super fast. I just plugged it in and gave it a slight push and it filled with foam. I gave it some time, about 10 minutes, and it was tight as a rock. It works!...not. Rode about 2 miles before I was riding on rubber and rim again. Totally useless. Never again. Ubered it home.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 9"
Weight: 170 lbs
Size Purchased: XXL

I rode with these on last week for my rainy century ride and yesterday on a morning downpour. As a previous reviewer said, they do fit tight, but that's what one would expect and want to keep the rain out. You have to keep in mind that this is a waterproof product, so it should fit tighter. I wear a size 45 (about size 11) Diadora road shoe and the XXL fit great. After my rides, my shoes and socks were bone dry. I bought these mainly because of the trusty Gore-Tex lining and it performed great. Zipped all the way up, the ankle is tight but I found it gave a little after my rides. Because of the ankle tightness, the rain that dripped/ran down my legs did not penetrate in. These booties are snugger than my Sportful Windstopper ones, which I also love. Overall, I very good waterproof product.

Run, climb and now road cycle.

I mainly use it for night trail running. The high lumens blaze up the entire trail. My buddys love to run with me. I also put it on my Meteor for night climbing and it fits perfect. I really don't use the sensor feature because I like being in control of my lighting. I have used it though and it's good to have when the battery is low. Now I've MacGyver'd it to my road cycling helmet. Check it out! Ride on!!
