Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
I really wanted to love this pack, it has all the features I need and wanted with plenty of room for a full day of touring.
The way the pack is built wasn't a good fit for me. I continually hit my head on the top of the pack when I look up. This is a problem because I do a lot of skinning to a couloir, then climb up it, where looking up high above you is a critical move you need to be able to do. Possibly a smaller size would have resolved this? But I am not sure. When I had my helmet on, it would hit even more, to the point I lost a good amount of range of motion in my neck. I have the Gregory Amber multi-day/night pack and it does the same thing, but I just deal with it. In the summer it seems more manageable, but I couldn't imagine trying to climb up a technical couloir and keep hitting my head on the pack every time I look up, or not being able to look up far enough. It seems it would ski downhill fine though. Also, for you split boarders out there, I couldn't fit my Jones Solution in split mode in the A-frame carry, it was too wide.
Bummer, because I was really excited for this pack, and I had to return it.
