Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 152 lbs
Size Purchased: Medium

I've had the previous version of these suits and they were also fantastic. I used a Large in those and while they felt good for the initial try on, I had wished I went with a medium. I'm 5' 11", 152 pounds, so lanky but above average height. Fitting me is tough, either I have to fit my height or my skinny, both is a rarity. I went with a medium in this suit and it is a snug fit but totally fine. Very minimal bunching and they made the sleeves longer, much appreciated. Now I won't have two goofy tan lines. Totally important.

Pad is awesome, same as the other but has some different patterns printed on it. It appears to be the same to me. Full zipper is great, easy to use one handed, no issues.

Great suit. Expensive but I like having to wash one thing instead of two (or remembering 2 things vs 1 for rides), so I'm good with it.

First thing to comment on is the fitment. I'm 5' 11", low 150's for weight, 32" inseam, pretty standard build for a skinny cyclist. I wear a medium in just about every single cycling jersey/shorts ever made. If you follow the size chart that Castelli posts, you'll be a size larger most likely (hence all of the size up comments). You're sizing up from your other brands, not sizing up on the chart they post which for me, is accurate. That being said, I'm a large in this piece of clothing, the length is good, no tugging on the upper body, and the pad isn't bunching.

Quality is typical Castelli, all is good. The zipper is easy to manipulate even with one hand, the fully opening top is great for nature breaks as well.

The chamois is awesome. It doesn't move on you at all while riding, I've got many 3+ hour rides on it and it felt good at hour 3 without any issues.

I am unsure if the material has any UV protection on it, so the first few times I've worn it, I used a base underneath just to be safe, however tested it without on a hot day, and had not a hint of sun on my body, so am unsure if I was lucky or if it blocks the rays.

Material airs very well, you'll stay cool on hot days.

3 pockets on the back, usable ones too, not just fakies to look functional. I have a mini pump in the center, and stuff food and such in the others and am just fine.

Awesome clothing.

5' 11", 150 pounds, wanted to buy my first "real" skinsuit. Caught a sale and this one looked to be a good quality.

I have a L in this. I thought I was between sizes, and I am by a smidge, but the L is good. I'd say it's good for me height wise, but it could actually be tighter over the body, I do have some light bunching around my hips when I'm tucked. Not causing me any issues just noting.

Definitely not something you will be wearing around the parking lot trying to look cool either, it naturally pulls your shoulders forward and isn't comfy if you try to stand up straight. It's made for being on a TT bike in a tuck.

Pad feels comfy for me, haven't ridden it more than about an hour.

I have the black color, and it is in fact quite warm on your back if you're out on an open road suffering.

I wear a size 45 Shimano shoe on the road. I have the XL size of these covers. They are a tight fit but they do fit and once over the shoe, seem perfect.

I have snagged them on the buckles though, and there's a small hole that I'm sure is going to grow into a larger hole in a couple more wearings. Not sure if I'm happy about that but some stuff I count as a cost of doing business and shoe covers are in that category.

I'm a thin build guy and even the XL stays tight around my lower calf.
