Small leaking issue

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer
Fit:
True to size

We have the 1.5L version and using it in an unconventional way. We bought it for our solar oven. In general, it works great with only a couple of downsides. The design is very nice and it pours very nice as well. After a few weeks of use, we noticed that it would leak from the handle attachments, around the rivets. The workaround is to pour slower and that is fine. Also, because the solar oven heats from above, the handle gets super hot and requires protection when removing the kettle from the oven. In summary, love the design, but our unconventional use may be causing some strain on the handle attachments causing some leaking.

Nice right size kettle

I bought this for my travel trailer as it is small and fits in the drawer perfectly. I used it twice so far and it does the job. Very happy!

Lightweight, well made

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I've used mine about a dozen or so times to heat up water for making coffee in the morning or hot water for washing dishes while camping. It's lightweight and the .9L is usually plenty for 1-2 people. Holds heat for a bit of time, but not super long since there isn't a ton of material there. Comes with a mesh bag to store it and not worry about it drying out, also keeps the cap at bay.

This thing is great

I've used it several times

This worked terrific. Light, simple, and perfect for one or two people. If you have more than that, it will be tough to fill a large French Press!

Perfect size for 2-3 cuppas.

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Small, light, durable. I use it at home, and won't hesitate to pack it along when spring hits. Got the .9 liter, and couldn't see myself needing the larger one unless I was in charge of a groups morning cocoa. For 1-2 people, it's perfect.

Better than expected

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Bought this kettle to stow neatly in a VW van sink while driving, and it does. Holds enough water to fill the fullsize french press. Ended up taking it on a 6 day backpacking trip and worked wonderfully for that too! Light, sturdy, low center of gravity and just the right size. I packed a pocket rocket stove and other items into it. Could probably fit a small size fuel canister if ya wanted.

was it the .9L or 1.5L you bought?

Perfect size for one or two people To brew up some water for tea. Very lightweight. I can't believe all that time I used my cook pot To boil water. I don't go camping without this little guy

Best Kettle Ever!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I am a huge tea fan! I drink tea on every adventure and so never leave without this! I have the 1.5L and my mountaineering partner has the 0.9L and we both love them. I boast about this thing from anything to the back porch, to the kitchen, to the trail and anywhere because it is that good. The best thing about this is that it literally has never ever dripped on me and that is the biggest problem I find with any tea pots or kettles. GET IT!

I

does anyone know whether you can cook with this on an open flame camp fire??

I love this little pot.

Besides being totally adorable; it is small, light and useful enough for me to take backpacking as a minimalist. I have been coveting my boyfriends pot for years and he recently surprised me with my very own pot. Now I can make my hot cereal and morning coffee together. Sweet.

Does this fit inside the 1.1L MSR Alpine Stowaway Pot?

That pot is 6 inches in diameter by 3 inches tall. Hate to say it but thats probably not going to work.
