This is perfect for day hikes and accents, as well as longer solo trips. Its ability to be packed away efficiently and conveniently into a self-contained unit is a huge plus. If you're looking for a lightweight, minimal kitchen set up I would recommend this trail kit. It is roughly the same size as a Jetboil when packed up, and while its a bit slower to boil water (~ 1.5 minutes longer) the difference in price makes this Primus product more than worth it. This product was designed well. The ceramic coating on the inside of the fry pan works well and the quality of the manufacturing of the pot/pan feels high. There is even a spout on the lip of the pot that makes pouring easy and makes draining the food you're cooking easier and safer. Its also a breeze to clean. The handles for the pot/pan can be used to "latch" the setup closed, as opposed to relying on the mesh bag to keep the fry pan in place as a lid. Primus really thought of it all - there aren't any additional features this setup is missing. Really can't recommend this product enough.
