My wife thoroughly enjoys this jacket

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

Bought her for her in a flash blizzard middle of spring, this was great to provide comfort vs the brisk weather, it was also at a great price. She loves the color, fits great and throws it on when its chilly, making this jacket a better purchase even so. Fits great but my wife is petite she is 5'2 and about 110 lbs.

A great alternative to the down coat

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs large

I own the popular mid-thigh down coat which was great for cold winters, but with our rainy PNW spring that is too cold for a rain jacket alone and too misty to keep up the effort to protect a down coat this coat puts my mind at ease. I'm looking forward to wearing it all spring and again in fall when I need something functional yet classy enough to wear to work. I wear a medium in almost every article of clothing I own, but it does run large and I opted for the small which fits perfectly.

    A little bulky for me

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: x-small
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 125lbs

I bought both colors of this coat and a small and an x-small. The x-small fit better for me. The coat is a little bulky and that wasn't the look i was going for, but when I tried it on my friend complimented and thought it looked nice. I ended up returning both.

    I LOVE the style...

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Small
    • Height: 5'4"
    • Weight: 125lbs

I am returning the Small I purchased for an Extra Small. Granted I feel like the cut of the coat lends itself to being boxy, the Small was way too big for me. I almost always wear a Small in everything. LOVE love love the style, the fur inside is so soft. Seems like a very durable and high-quality jacket. I love the length as well.

Could this coat be waxed to add a bit of water resistance? Are there any interior pockets? Are the sleeves fully lined with sherpa and/or taffeta?

    Hey Ellie,

The sleeves on this are taffeta so you can slide in easily with a long sleeve shirt or sweater. The fabric is just a heavy cotton with some spandex, I don't know enough about putting wax coatings on jackets, but if you know how I think it would take the wax, but most likely wouldn't deemed 'warranty' if the process didn't go smoothly. Hope that helps.
