Its fitted cut and low rise flatter your curves, while the Meme's numerous pockets supply plenty of places for your small essentials.

I hope I always own at least one pair.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs large

I owned a pair of these pants in green for five years and despite consistent wear during farm work and camping, they are still in great shape. They run quite large though, so eventually I had to admit that they no longer fit me at all and opted for a size down. The next size worked, but I still could've gotten an even smaller size. They really stretch out and the waist seems disproportionally wide compared to the tightness of the legs. These pants are great for working outside in the rain. The black is a bit faded, so don't expect a really dark, sleek color.

    Cute/comfy, room for improvement

I wear a size 2 in most pants but 0 in Prana and the waist on their 0 is still a little too big. I'm not a stick figure either, I have a trail runner booty. The tech specs read as 32" inseam for size 4. The 0 is a touch too short for my long legs but doable. They're very comfortable, practical for hiking or trail running on a cooler day but stylish enough I could wear them to work or a lunch date. Great amount of pockets but be warned you cannot get more than your fingers in the front hip pockets and the buttons on the back and cargo pockets are next to impossible to button.

    LOVE these pants

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 6

I absolutely love these pants. I purchased them for climbing and hiking and they're perfect for just that. Plus, stylish enough that you can wear them whenever. I'm usually a size 4-6 so I got the size 6 in these and it fits like a glove. They do stretch out a little bit as you wear them so keep that into consideration. Prana can do no wrong.

Just what I've been looking for!

Years ago I grabbed a pair of cargo skinny pants at Target and have LOVED them, however...I'm not in high school anymore and they're a little too snug these days haha. I've been trying to find a pant that's similar in style but fit better and wasn't a super low rise.

These pants are it! I've only just tired them on and worn them around the house but I already know they're going to be my new favorite camping/hiking pants. I love that they're not super tight at the ankle so I can roll them. I love that the hip pockets don't gap and pucker funny. I'm 5'7" and like 155lbs, I got an 8 and they're a perfect fit. I can't say enough how please I am with these pants, I already plan to purchase them again in multiple colors.

    Did the fit change?

I bought these pants in Cargo Green and loved them so much I decided to buy them in Quartz and Black as well. The fit is completely different from the pants I loved. The material also seems scratchier than my original pair. The legs are baggy and the waist is tight making them both uncomfortable and unflattering. So disappointed.

    LOVE

Love these pants, they are as comfortable as leggings but more functional. They are true to size, go on a little tight but stretch to a comfortable fit quickly. I've only worn them a few times, so I can't speak to how well they hold up.

    Awesome pants to hike in

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs small

At first when I got these, I thought they fit a bit snug and would be restricting but I took them for a test run at a local trail and they feel like second skin. I love that they're not the boot leg silhouette that most hiking pants are. I would buy these in all the colors if I could! I am a 28 inch waist and the 6 fit me well. I also like how versatile they are!

    Love it

    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 4

I love the burgundy color and the rise (mid and more coverage than the low rise ones), the cargo pockets (discreet when not using but good size to use) and the stretch but I had to make a decision between this Meme pant and Brenna pants and I kept the Brenna pants. If I had a big enough budget, I would keep both (sigh!). I am 5'2", 120 lbs (pear shape) and size 4 fits.

    Nice fabric, poor fit

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I wanted to love these pants. I have the Halles and love the fabric, so I thought these Memes would be great too. Unfortunately these did not work out for me. My usual size 4 for Prana fit well in the waist and thighs, but the length on the inseam is no where near 32 in. At 6'1" I am used to wearing high water skinny pants, but these only reached my calves. Usually a 32in inseam hits above my ankle which is fine for wear with boots or sandals.

In addition to the inseam issue, I think these pants have room for improvement. The internal buttons on the cargo pockets are difficult to open and close. I also feel restricted in my movement due to the seam above the knee.

Overall the fabric is great, they seem super durable, but beware of the inseam and the annoying pocket buttons.

    Form and function

So after trying out the Halle pant (which I have decided I need to go for the Tall and just tailor them) I decided I would try a narrower leg pant by Prana. Went for these and was overall happy with the purchase. The fit is interesting. The 2 in the Halle was perfect (minus the length) I got these in a 2 as well and the waist has a lot more stretch, I could have sized down to a 0 however the legs overall fit pretty narrow. They weren't uncomfortable by any means just an interesting fit. They are comfortable for hiking and keep you cool and overall look great. I saw another chick rocking them out in Moab, these pants are definitely a yes for me!

I have two colors in these, and wish I had more! They are really great for all weather, as they breathe well when its hot, and dry fast. They are stretchy, with makes hiking in them very comfortable. They are good for climbing, but not for sending hard, unless you get them really loose. The knee can pull down a be a little restrictive, if you're trying to pull a high heel hook.

Sizing is interesting, on these. They do stretch some, so you can size down. I have the 4, and took the waist in a little. These fit in the length, and are also better for climbing, than the 2's. I also have the size 2. They are really flattering and have more of a city look, with less bunch in the fabric.

These pants hold up really well. They don't wrinkle, so they are great for travel. You can easily dress them up, also. So, a perfect all around pant.

    Perfect Pants

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

These pants are ready for anything you throw at them. You could go climbing/hiking and head to the bar in the same pair of pants. They have the perfect skinny cut but they are stretchy enough to let you move anyway you please. They became my favorite pair of pants as soon as I tried them on.

Unbearably cool but not enough stretch

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Size Bought: 6

These pants look so good that it was really tempting to keep them even though I could not raise my knees to waist level in them. I would go so far as to say that these pants were actually more flattering then most pants I own, so if I had more space to pack I would probably have brought them with me anyways for general use. They look so much better than other hiking pants that I really, really wanted to find a way to make them work, but the lack of flexibility combined with a marked waist gap means that sadly they're going back.

    Perfect Travel Pants!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Size Bought: Size 0

I'm 5'6, 121 lb, the size 0 was a perfect fit. The stretch on the pants were very comfortable and I love the waterproof fabric. I wore them on a recent camping trip to Big Sur and pretty much wore them everyday. They held their own and didn't get loose. Awesome! I look forward to wearing them rock climbing as well :)

    Perfect Travel Pants!

    Runs small in the calves

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I really love the Prana Halle pants so I thought I would like the Meme pants too because I love skinny leg pants. It feels like the same light and stretchy fabric that's in the Halle pants but it doesn't function quite the same way. The Meme pants has seams running horizontally across the legs which makes that part of the pant leg not stretchy. If you squat you'll feel the seams restrict your movement. Not great. I wear a size 0 short in the Halle and they fit perfectly. In the Meme I got a 2 regular. I'm 5'4" (with 35" hips) and the length works as does the waist. However the lower legs are pretty tight. Since it's tight around the calves it actually pulls the pants down from my waist. If you have bulky calves like I do, stick with the Halle.

Nice Look - Not Stretchy in the Least

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: 8

I am technically an 8, but I often end up buying a size 10 depending on the fit in the thighs and how stretchy the material is.

As the description says these pants are "stretchy" I trusted that an 8 would fit appropriately. They do not.
They are not really what I would describe as stretchy. Not tearing as I try to squeeze the pants over my thighs is not "Stretch" that's just how your average pant should be. Stretchy means it will fit around my various parts while still hugging them.

When getting over my thighs, I thought if I could magically focus my weight loss energy solely into my thighs these would be fine, but then there was the area all around my waist - dreaded gap in the front and massive gap in the back.

So be warned, if you have larger thighs and a small waist, these will likely not fit at all. Pick a size, any size and you will have a problem either in the waist or the thighs.

Is there no size 0 option at all?

Does anyone know if this (2015) season's Meme pant still has the seam across the top of the lower thigh? It looks that way from the picture, but I am hoping they've loosened the seam or somehow made it more stretchy like the rest of the pant. I loved the fit of last year's but couldn't move as much as I wanted in it because the seam restricted the stretchiness of the material.
