The pants fit great expect for the cuff. I am tall and thin so the size 2 fit perfect (I usually wear size 4) but the cuff came to the middle of my calf and it was very tight because they were too short. I would have needed a tall. I was bummed but had to return them.

Absolutely loved these pants and bought two more pair in different colors....although each pair fits differently! I?m 5?3 130lbs and bought size 6. They vary by a full size I?d say.

Wanted to love, but sizing runs large

I typically wear size 4 pants, but these ran large. I'd recommend sizing down. Nice relaxed fit otherwise, and like other reviewers have said it seems like the sizing varies by color. I ordered 2 pair and the champagne size 4 didn't fit.

Wash solo!!

I bought the terra cotta color and dark gray color of these pants. The orange ones fit rather loosely and the gray ones are better. Washed the gray ones with some colored items (warm water) and they bled. Directions say to wash solo the first time but would wash only with darks for the first few times. Otherwise cute and comfy! I would have been good with a 00.

I ordered two pair of Janessa pants, one in toffee and one in charcoal both in size 12. I was grateful for the discount available via backcountry and the fixed return shipping fee of 6.50. This is a huge savings compared to doing a return from other sites. I love Prana pants because I am 5'11 with an athletic frame. I wear a size 10 or 12 tall in halle pants and I can usually wear a 12 in KARA jeans but that has become unreliable depending on the color. I ordered the Janessa pants after reading the helpful reviews from other customers. I bought these with the intent to use them as capris. The toffee size 12 fit nicely and hit my right below my calf. The charcoal size 12 I could barely get on. I knew as soon as I tried to pull them up they were incorrectly sized. Yes the label says 12 but they fit like an 8 or a 10.
