    Up for any adventure.

From the climbing crag to the corner coffee shop, the Prana Women's Halle Pant is designed to tackle just about everything and anything you throw at it—including those emergency board meetings. The Halle features Prana's famed and pliable Stretch Zion fabric, which (as its name suggests) stretches for unimpeded mobility, dries quickly, and is wrinkle-resistant—makes it extremely travel friendly and versatile. Additionally, the Halle is equipped with a DWR treatment to fend off coffee spills and light precipitation alike. A relaxed fit readies the Halle for uninhibited movements, and articulated knees help you step over boulders, fallen trees, or sidewalk obstacles with ease. Not to mention, the Halle easily converts into a capri: simply roll-up the legs and secure them with the internal buttons and loops.

    • A trouser-inspired pant for active or casual wear
    • Fabric is stretch, moisture-wicking, and wrinkle-resistant
    • DWR treatment fends off light moisture
    • Articulated knees assure unobstructed high steps
    • Roll-up leg feature converts pant into capris
    • Bevvy of pockets keep necessities close

Love these pants so much I have three!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought a pair of these back in March for a hiking trip to Utah because they were on sale. I was so obsessed with them that I said whenever they go on sale again I will buy more. I have them in burgundy and just recently got them while on sale in black and olive green. I’m an ecologist so I work outside in the field a lot and I need clothes that will hold up to my day to day life. These pants are super comfy, they dry quick when they get wet, and are a lightweight material so they don’t make me hot. The only thing I can complain about is the sizing. I typically wear a size 12, but I had to go up in size to a 14 when I got my first pair. After much use of the side zip pocket (which is perfect for keeping your phone handy for picture taking!), some of the stitching was starting to unravel, so I had to resow it and I know this happened because when my phone would be in the pocket, the pant would be a tad tighter, pulling on the stitching. This time around I decided to go up one more size to a 16, just so that they would be a bit baggy on me. Having a pair of pants in that number scares the crap out of me, but I know that it's just a number and it's also just because of the style of pant and I'm OKAY with it! Comfort overrules a number!

    Yes!

It's always great when women provide size intel. It's so hard to figure out if a pair of pants are going to fit. I will say, the Halle is a-mazing. The mid rise fits like a mid rise. The 31" inseam fits my 31" leg perfectly. The hips are fitted, yet comfortable. I bought a 6 based on the Prana size chart. I knew I'd be on the snugger end of the relaxed fit, but the fit is exactly how I like it. I measured my waist where the top of the pant waist sits (34")--about 1-1.5" below my belly button. My hips at the fullest part of my butt is 38". The pants also have some give. I definitely would not go down to a 4. And if I wanted them to be more relaxed in the hip, I think it would work out fine to go up to an 8.

These Pants Made Me Like Pants

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I am not someone who wears jeans or most pants in general. My logic was that I don't like to be limited in any way. If someone were to start playing tag spontaneously I would feel restricted in jeans and thus ill prepared. I thought athletic leggings were my only way to go...until these pants.

These are mobile, breathable, comfortable and look great. I plan on purchasing every color and never needing pants again (fingers crossed). I wear these to work and gone straight to rock climbing afterwards and just really dig them.

Like most prAna products the fit is a little different. I normally wear a 3 and sometimes a 4 but I'm a 2 in these. They are adjustable though, so fit great. Also there are a plethora of pocket options, which is rather uncommon with women's pants.

All in all these are rad pants and a purchase to make anyone pleased.

    I absolutely love these pants

The quality of this pant is great. They are my best hiking pants. I also love the fact that you can fold the bottom and turn it into shorts.
These pants are light weight, and very breathable.

    New FAVORITE Pants

I LOVE these pants! (can I rate them 10 out of 5 stars!?!) They are the perfect cut, perfect length and so comfortable! I love the flap back pockets, very flattering. I've already bought a second pair and will be shopping for another now! They do run a bit large, I would recommend sizing down for everyone. I ordered a 6 and returned for a 4, and with the relaxed fit I still have plenty of room to move around. Best. Pants. Ever.

When planning a trip to Scotland, I tried many different pants and Pranas were/are my favorite. They are lightweight, take up little room in luggage, water resistant and stain resistant (both of these guarantees were tested and proven....remember do NOT use fabric softener to retain these guarantees for the life of the garment). These are now my

I bought these for a trip to Colorado, but it so happens that I also needed a new pair of khaki pants to wear for work. I'm moving and going a lot in my job so comfort and durability is the #1 priority for me. These pants deliver, their comfortable, and stylish and they don't make me feel like i'm overheating when its hot out. Will buy more when the time comes!

    Love em!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size

Bought these for casual and hiking trips so far; for being outdoors in Alaska they were a great versatile pant for hanging around the campsite to getting dirty to going to the Saturday market. I am 5' 6", 130LB, athletic build and bought a small to later return it for a XS. The pocket on the thigh was perfect for stashing money, chap stick, and other little things that I didn't want to lose in a crowd. They have a very nice look almost classy for town and the material is a little bit of a lighter but perfect for the temperatures I used them for (80's to low 60's).

    Love These!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 16 regular
    • Height: 5'7"

Easy to clean, durable and figure flattering. These pants definitely make it hard to want to wear anything else. They have survived kid spills, mom spills, hikes, water fights, dogs, horses, mystery toddler spills and long car rides. Will definitely be buying more colors! Fast drying and still make me look like I have my ducks in a row.

    • Size Bought: 4 Short
    • Height: 5'4"

These are literally the best pants ever. I wear them on all of my hikes. You can wear them anytime of the year and I usually layer insulating running tights under them in the winter. There aren't any annoying random seams which I've noticed with a lot of technical pants. The short inseam is perfect. I've tried on some long inseam ones thinking I could just hem them up--not the case, they didn't fit at all. I have the coal ones and mood indigo (more of a slate color). I can't say enough good things about these pants!!!

    Awesome pants

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: 4 regular
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 125lbs

I wear these for climbing outdoors and camping, and they have held up wonderfully. They do stretch out a bit as you wear them, but they go back to their original size after washing. According to the size chart, I should be a 6 or 8, but the 4 fits great. I also have a 6 which is a bit baggy, but not so much so that they're falling off. My only qualm with them is that the buttons for rolling up the pant legs are plastic, so they've gotten worn down on the rocks enough to where they don't stay buttoned... but that could just be because I can get a bit clumsy with my knees while climbing.

    Flattering and Functional

    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 16 short
    • Height: 5'3"

I am a dog trainer, and I have three pairs of these great pants. I wear a 16 short, and they fit me perfectly. I love the feel of the stretchy fabric. I really hate to wear other pants for work now, because they are so comfortable and flattering. I wear them outside during hot weather, and they keep me cool. I wear them during the cold and rainy season and they keep me dry. I have noticed that they shrink a bit in length, but I do put them in the dryer. The front pockets are small for most items, but the back pockets work great for my phone and other tools of my trade. I wear them unrolled, because they keep me cool enough in the longer length. I like the interior waist tie, because it helps keep the pants from sagging as they stretch through out a long day. They have been jumped on by mouthy dogs and slobbered on by drooly dogs and scratched on by long-nailed dogs and even peed on by puppy dogs. They are easy to clean and tough.

    Best pants. Ever.

I am now the happy owner of multiple colors of these lovely pants. I can not stress how well designed they are; from the stretch and articulation, to the versatility (roll-up leg option), to the hidden pockets, and the very important fact that they make your tush look darn good. I can not say that they run large, as other reviewers have, because I have pants from Prana in 3 different sizes. I do recommend that you try them on prior to purchase, if you can. (The same day I got these in 8, I also got a size 6 in another Prana pant--both fit the same). At 5'8" and a 29in inseam, regular length is perfect for me (I wear flip flops at work--yes, I love my job). Love that they fit nearly the same in the afternoon as they do in the morning. Definitely my fav Prana pant style.

I love these pants!! I pretty much haven't taken them off since I got them. They look great for running around town and they're kickass for climbing on cooler days. So so comfy and they give me full range of motion! I've even worn them to do a bit of yoga. They're just a touch too long when I'm barefoot, so I'm considering hemming them (I really like being barefoot!). The string adjustment is awesome too because it means I don't have to wear a belt either! I've also been told my butt looks good in them, so that's a bonus!

    great pants!

I have only worn these twice so far but love them. They are super comfortable. I am 5'5" and ordered a regular but should have ordered a short since they are a little long on me.

Functional pants don't get any cuter!

I admit, I bought these pants mostly based on style! Sure they looked like they function well, but they looked incredibly cute too. They get fabulous reviews on all outdoor websites, so I had to try them. The material is very durable. You can slide across rough rocks and logs with no worries. The fit is great. Although I am 5'5", I ordered them with a short inseam...they are the perfect length. I have a 30" inseam and these pants hit the bottom of my heel. They are very flattering with a boot cut. My only complaint is the pockets. The two front pockets are small and the thigh pocket doesn't fit much other than chapstick or a pack of gum. The back pockets are larger, but I never put anything in my back pockets anyways.

    My second pair!

Excellent pants! I love these pants! I get compliments on the color and the feel! They are unique! The do run large. So size down. Flattering and feel great on! Casual and you can wear them almost anywhere!

    These are perfect. Get them.

This pant is really durable, so you can get down and dirty with no regrets. These aren't too thick for summer hiking and climbing. But, they are not the thinnest summer pant that prAna offers. So, also get the Sage Convertible Pant, if you need a super hot-weather pant.

For sizing, they will be the same as the Kara pant. So, I'm typically a size 4, but in these I am a 2. They fit well, and stay in place.

These have a ton of stretch, for movement, but don't lose their shape. Good for climbing, hiking, and being comfortable. One of my buttons came off, and prAna shipped me 2 new ones in a matter of days. Sweet!!!

    Unanswered Question

Are these pants close to low rise? In the pictures it looks like they are.

    Unanswered Question

How long is the inseam in a 12 long? And do these truly run big or are they just a baggy fit? My concern is if I size down would they be too tight in the waistband. I'm fit but I'm apple shaped so waistbands are my problem in women's clothing since they tend to be cut smaller in the waist. Any advice on if I should really Size down? For those that did size down, did it make the pant fitted?

Is size 0 only available in Tall? How does the sizing & fit compare to the Kara jean?

    Hey Chelsea,

The fit of the halle is more relaxed compared to the kara. The kara is also a little more vanity sized (runs one size smaller) so I would think that the Halle runs true to size and more relaxed.

    Thanks!
